"The Grace of God, the Will of Man: A Case for Arminianism" was written by an impressive team of evangelical scholars from many traditions. This work carries on the ancient debate about the scope of God's saving purposes and the manner of his effecting salvation in human beings. It defends the proposition that God is a dynamic personal Agent who respects the freedom he chose to delegate to his human creatures and relates sensitively to us in the outworking of his plans for the whole of history. God is love and expresses his power by working salvation among us under conditions of genuine mutuality. The contributors to this volume are Christian scholars who are eager to present this evangelical model as an alternative to deterministic theology. They do not claim to have said the last word on the subject but want at least to keep the ball of theological discussion in play.

The Largeness Of God S Grace Seen In Predestination written by William Perkins and has been published by Puritan Publications this book supported file pdf, txt, epub, kindle and other format this book has been release on 2012-07-06 with Religion categories.

This work is a serious study on the doctrine of predestination as it refers to man’s salvation or reprobation by God’s eternal decree. Perkins teaches from the Bible that the doctrine of predestination and God’s grace is to be founded on the written Word of God, and not on the judgments of men. He also emphatically shows, by a multitude of examples, that this doctrine also agrees with the grounds of common logic and reason as it should. His purpose is to help, almost exhaustively, those who are “stuck on the difficulties of the doctrine of predestination.” This is a classic puritan work, glorifying the sovereign Creator of heaven and earth, and worthy of deep consideration by every professing Christian. This is not a scan or a facsimile, but a newly typeset work updated and made easily readable, with an active table of contents.

Have you wondered what God's intentions are or if He has intentions for you? Answers to these questions and more are found in Unearthing Your Heavenly Election, which reveals the logical love in God's choosing of you to be in heaven with Him eternally. Unearthing Your Heavenly Election is a compilation of verses from the Old and New Testaments progressively arranged to uncover the sensible reasoning behind predestination. As an added bonus, you will learn the parallel doctrine in the Bible that will relieve, comfort, and empower your Christian walk. That is the doctrine of eternal security. You will find answers to questions like: How can you claim Jesus chose me when I am the one who chose Jesus? Can people lose their salvation? Why would some people not be chosen? Study in depth Jesus' separation of the goats from His sheep, and come to understand His parables of the talents, wheat, and tares. Take advantage of the included glossary for simple definitions of commonly used Christian words viewed in the light of election. Start enjoying your Christian walk as you shed vague ideas concerning salvation, and instead, embrace the clarity and intensity of it. Release your grip on guilt, and let it fall away as you discover more love than you have ever known. Lose the confusion you have had about God's saving grace, and find the answers to questions you have been afraid to ask. Come to a place of peace and relaxation with yourself and with God.

This book is about how the Christian actually became a Christian. The 'process' is Marc's focus. How does God take the Chosen from the womb to salvation then into His eternal bosom? The classic position of Election and Predestination is made plain; forcing the reader to address the alternative, Man's free-will choice to be 'saved' or not. Can these two positions be reconciled? No, not really. The Lord assured Moses: I will make all My goodness pass before you, and I will proclaim the name of the Lord before you. I will be gracious to whom I will be gracious, and I will have compassion on whom I will have compassion, Exodus 33:19. Moses was to experience a limited 'theophany, ' what the Greek Orthodox call a 'theosis, ' the physical presence of God, Himself, equivalent to - 'My goodness.' It is God's very 'Goodness' the New Testament saint knows to be the indwelt Holy Spirit, the very Spirit of Christ Jesus, Himself, God Himself. Paul cites the Exodus passage in Romans to demonstrate to the body of Christ that God by His sovereignty elected each believer to be His own, that we did not elect ourselves to be God's. And one Saint asked, "Why write about such things that have been covered for hundreds of years?" True. But more recently much about God's sovereignty has been covered over. Christian modernity has adapted as the author once did to a new Evangelicalism. Whereby, some first truths have been buried so deep that when they are unearthed they appear to be a foreign theology to the present generation of Evangelical believers. Marc affords the saint the information necessary to actually understand how he or she actually got saved! Marc presently lives in Orlando Florida where he pastors Blessed Fellowship Orlando, an outreach ministry of Orlando Prayer and Worship Center, Senior Pastor Roy Futch.
