Confidence Keys offers a comprehensive guide to building lasting self-esteem and projecting confidence in all areas of life, emphasizing that confidence isn't innate but a skill to be learned. It explores the psychological roots of self-esteem, drawing from attachment theory, CBT, and social learning theory to show how our early experiences and thought patterns shape our self-perception. The book uniquely integrates internal and external strategies, providing actionable techniques for overcoming self-doubt and embracing your authentic self. The book progresses systematically, beginning with an exploration of self-esteem's foundations and the factors influencing it. Readers then learn how to challenge negative thoughts through cognitive restructuring and mindfulness practices, fostering a more positive self-image. Finally, it delves into confident self-presentation through effective communication and body language, providing concrete strategies for social interactions. The book also acknowledges the importance of developing realistic self-esteem, avoiding the pitfalls of unfounded high self-regard. By presenting case studies, empirical research, and practical exercises, Confidence Keys provides a holistic approach to personal growth. Whether you're looking to improve your relationships, enhance your career, or simply boost your self-worth, this book offers the tools and insights needed to unlock your full potential through improved self-confidence and genuine self-esteem.

29 Keys To Unlocking Your Faith At Work Win written by Lorene Phillips and has been published by AuthorHouse this book supported file pdf, txt, epub, kindle and other format this book has been release on 2016-12-02 with Religion categories.
Somewhere along the journey of my walk with Christ I was made to believe that the work we do for the Lord within the four walls of the church, i.e. any church ministry activity, was most important and pleasing to God. This teaching did not sit well with me. As I spent more time in the Word and grew in my personal relationship with the Lord I became more and more aware that God wants ALL of my life to be a living sacrifice a life that is fully surrendered to Him and not just that part of my life that I offer within my church. Coming to this realization was a journey of self-acceptance, confidence and authenticity, understanding who I am created to be in Him. I accepted fully that God had a specific plan for my life and that I must be true to the calling He has for me. So, instead of just focusing on participating or even leading church related activities, I started to become more mindful of how I lived my life on a daily basis in my workplace to make sure that I give glory to God in all that I do, say or think. I started to look for opportunities to show and share Christ in my marketplace whenever I could. I love to mentor and coach others and believe that my everyday life in the workplace is where I can be an active and living ambassador for Christ. It is clear that God desires for me to be to be the salt and light in the world the marketplace that he has suited me for both in terms of skills and fit. The calling on our lives is awesome and much bigger than we can imagine. Through this book I want to encourage others to consider and change their lives allowing God complete access to their work life knowing that he cares about us in that sphere and requires us to be his witness as we accomplish our jobs. This book will specifically encourage women and anyone (men, also) who desires to increase their impact and demonstrate their faith in a practical way in the workplace. I share transparently with others how I walk this called out life in the workplace in the most practical ways and provide them with an opportunity to consider ways in which they could become more effective for Christ in the workplace to which God has called them to operate.

Three words describe the treatise in your hands: passion, experience, and depth. It is one thing to write a theory and quite another to adduce gems of wisdom from a calling that was lived in numerous settings, explored over decades, and then studied; such is the case for Dr. Norahs Executive Performance. The book includes lessons from a doctoral study on executive performance in Uganda. It presents a framework of eight critical pillars of executive performance and a model for generating intrinsic motivation to perform. It confirms that performance is mostly about leadership, sociocultural beliefs, and performers attitudes. More importantly, it presents practical ideas about leadership that appropriately addresses sociocultural and mind-set challenges to unlock performance among Ugandan executives. In here are invaluable thoughts, nuggets, and incredible wisdom for business owners, organization leaders, and executives who are looking for ideas to enhance organizational performance in an African setting. Indeed, Executive Performance is a collectors piece.
