This book presents a proposal for a new soft computing innovative method called by “CFE” forevaluation of the football matches of FIFA(IFAB) and UEFA to compute the true ‘Winner’. It is a research work in the area of ‘Football Science’, being proposed to FIFA (IFAB) and UEFA, Zurich, Switzerland for consideration to replace the existing obsolete and weak rules of football matches of 90 minutes to declare the final ‘Winner’. In CFE, the final decision about any football match of 90 minutes is obtained “by computation”, by execution of a software called by ‘CFE-software’ with the real time input values directly from the field on a number of highly significant parameters, some of them being continuous variables. The result of m-n goals at the end of 90 minutes play in a football match is just one of the many parameters for the computation of the ‘Winner’ in our proposed CFE method. The evaluation is mainly based upon the application of Fuzzy Logic, ‘Fuzzy Pocket Machine’, fast Computer Server, good Communication system from playing-field to the server (as used in Cricket matches) and the CFE-software at the server. The Referees need not be experts in fuzzy set theory; they can be easily trained within just 30 minutes of demonstration on : how to use the ‘fuzzy pocket machine’ for giving real time inputs to the database at the server.

Introducing cutting-edge methods, the book challenges long-held assumptions and encourages a new way of thinking about football analysis. Based on data collected from the German Bundesliga and the UEFA Champions League, the book seeks to define the role of positional data in football match analysis by exploring topics such as: What is positional data analysis and how did it emerge from conventional match analysis? How can positional data be collected and which technologies can be used? What are the benefits of a data-driven approach to decision making in football? What Key Performance Indicators based on positional data should be used? How can traditional match analysis be complemented by using positional data and advanced KPIs? How can these new methods evolve in the future? Accessibly written, packed full of examples from elite football and supplemented with expert interviews (Ralf Rangnick, Urs Siegenthaler and others), Data Analytics in Football is a thought-provoking, rigorously evidence-based guide to the use of data analytics in football performance analysis. As such, it is a vital resource for any student, researcher or coach interested in performance analysis and skill acquisition, or anyone interested in football more generally.

Game plan is the ultimate book for the thinking football fan. The book tackles the issue of decision making and strategy in the NFL from the viewpoint of a true contrarian. No NFL tradition is sacred in this look at why so many NFL teams have such a difficult time making good decisions. More importantly, Game plan offers a radical solution that can make almost any team better. Along the way Game plan makes a number of compelling comparisons between football and other domains. The NFL's coaches are compared to poker players, while the league's front offices are compared to doctors. By using analogies like these, Game plan illustrates how NFL teams can solve their problems by looking at the way that other industries have already solved similar problems. -- Cover, p. [4].

The Soccer eyeQ methodology is a proven and successful coaching method to increase scanning and improve game awareness, to provide your players with the tools to make better decisions. Pep Guardiola: "Taking the right decision in the right moment. That is the most difficult thing in football." You will learn how to train scanning and game awareness through innovative training practices. Your players (and team) will take in information quicker, create a picture of what's around them, create an essential habit, and greatly enhance their decision making skills. Too many players focus intently on the ball, control it, and only then look up to see the options. The Soccer eyeQ practices use simple constraints which force players to scan more frequently and read the game situation. With the "picture" created, your players will be quicker, sharper, and make better decisions in all situations. The top players in the world scan the most and this is your chance to develop your players and improve their game awareness to scan like the best; De Bruyne, Mbappe, De Jong, Xavi, Fabregas, Iniesta, Henry, Lampard, and Gerrard.
