Juan Gonzalez, on the lamb after defending himself against a corrupt and vengeful Chief Hughes, comes into a windfall and although the treats himself to some amenities he'd never had, he decides to honor his father and his father's dream and help his Mexican community in the small town of Sandy, Oregon. This fiction represents what one person can do if their heart is in the right places. It is heartwarming and actually brought a tear to my eye. It's worth the time taken to read of the life and times of Juan Gonzalez. A book of love and adventure written by my father.
