Die Losungen sind in der gesamten Christenheit verbreitet und werden in über 60 Sprachen übersetzt. Im dritten Teil nimmt der Autor die beiden Bibelverse der Losungen auf und interpretiert sie mit Blick auf seine Familie, aus gegebenem Anlass vor dem Hintergrund der Coronakrise. So gesehen bietet das Buch eine Zusammenstellung ausgewählter Fragestellungen der Pandemie, ihrer Entwicklung und ihrem Umfeld. Es bildet ein Zeitdokument, in dem die gesellschaftlichen, gesundheitspolitischen, vor allem auch medizinischen und nicht zuletzt die globalen Aspekte dieser bislang umfassendsten Seuchenerkrankung des 21. Jahrhunderts zur Sprache kommen. Gleichzeitig kann es als Andachtsbuch gelesen werden, in dem Bibeltexte in ihren heilsgeschichtlichen Zusammenhängen erklärt und auf persönliche wie auch zeitgeschichtliche Gegebenheiten bezogen werden.
