Both Evolutionists and Creationists should find this 10,639 word book, to be an interesting read. There are questions posed from both sides of this ancient debate as to whether God created all that exists (Creationists) or if it all evolved from nothingness in a continually forward progression for many eons (Evolutionary Theories). I will confess that I am creationist, however, I do give my fellow-creationists much to ponder as well. at over 10,400 words in length, there's sure to be some nuggets of information that one might call "food-for-thought" within the words of this book. Following is a CHAPTERS LIST:CHAPTER ONE: Recognizing Old Earth Creationism is Vastly ImportantCHAPTER TWO: Questions Genesis Gap Refuters Don't Answer Specifically CHAPTER THREE: Basic Logical Questions about Life having Meaning and Purpose CHAPTER FOUR: Existing Evil and Mythical Gods Reasons to Doubt the Holy Bible? The Creation Evolution Controversy written by R. L. Wysong and has been published by Wysong Institute this book supported file pdf, txt, epub, kindle and other format this book has been release on 1976 with Creation categories.

Who has not wondered about the origin of the universe and life? And, for certain, this is a question that should be taken with the utmost seriousness and sense of duty. After all, how can we know why we are here or what we should be doing if we do not know where we came from?Although religions have their belief (creation), and materialists have their belief(evolution), beliefs are not what truth is about. This is a book of daring adventure between these two emotionally charged belief systems. Rather than advocate, Dr. Wysong pits one belief against the other using the only weapons that should be used if truth is the objective: reason and evidence.Dr. Wysong's rational, philosophic, and scientific probings make this book a reservoir of thoughtful and factual information that will not draw dust on your bookshelf. Now in its thirteenth printing, this seminal 1975 book has been read worldwide, is widely cited on the web, and continues to be used in schools. It has helped lay the groundwork for a rational dialogue between religion and science and remains current to this day because of its even handed treatment of the subject and because reason should never fall out of fashion.

The Three Failures Of Creationism written by Walter Fitch and has been published by Univ of California Press this book supported file pdf, txt, epub, kindle and other format this book has been release on 2012-03-05 with Science categories.

Walter M. Fitch, a pioneer in the study of molecular evolution, has written this cogent overview of why creationism fails with respect to all the fundamentals of scientific inquiry. He explains the basics of logic and rhetoric at the heart of scientific thinking, shows what a logical syllogism is, and tells how one can detect that an argument is logically fallacious, and therefore invalid, or even duplicitous. Fitch takes his readers through the arguments used by creationists to question the science of evolution. He clearly delineates the fallacies in logic that characterize creationist thinking, and explores the basic statistics that creationists tend to ignore, including elementary genetics, the age of the Earth, and fossil dating. His book gives readers the tools they need for detecting and disassembling the ideas most frequently repeated by creationists.

The name DGGTB (Deutsche Gesellschaft für Geschichte und Theorie der Biologie; German Society for the History and Theory of Biology) reflects recent history as well as German tradition. The Society is a relatively late addition to a series of German societies of science and medicine that began with the »Deutsche Gesellschaft für Geschichte der Medizin und der Naturwissenschaften«, founded in 1910 by Leipzig University's Karl Sudhoff (1853-1938), who wrote: »We want to establish a ,German' society in order to gather German-speaking historians together in our special disciplines so that they form the core of an international society...«. Yet Sudhoff, at this time of burgeoning academic internationalism, was »quite willing« to accommodate the wishes of a number of founding members and »drop the word German in the title of the Society and have it merge with an international society«. The founding and naming of the Society at that time derived from a specific set of historical circumstances, and the same was true some 80 years later when in 1991, in the wake of German reunification, the »Deutsche Gesellschaft für Geschichte und Theorie der Biologie« was founded. From the start, the Society has been committed to bringing studies in the history and philosophy of biology to a wide audience, using for this purpose its Jahrbuch für Geschichte und Theorie der Biologie. Parallel to the Jahrbuch, the Verhandlungen zur Geschichte und Theorie der Biologie has become the by now traditional medium for the publication of papers delivered at the Society's annual meetings. In 2005 the Jahrbuch was renamed Annals of the History and Philosophy of Biology, reflecting the Society's internationalist aspirations in addressing comparative biology as a subject of historical and philosophical studies.

Have you ever wondered how the universe originated or whether the universe always existed? Have you ever wondered how life began on earth? Have you ever heard others discuss origins but felt unable to contribute to the conversation? Would you like to defend your views but feel unequipped or inadequate to do so? Are you unsure about what to believe? Would you like to learn more about the subject of origins? If so, this book will be a help to you. The subject of evolution and creation often causes much contention and controversy. The question that may be asked is, "Why is there so much tension and animosity between those who hold to opposing views regarding the subject of origins?" Others may ask, "What do those of opposing views base their beliefs upon? Is there any reconciling of the different views? The differences, I believe, in part are due to one's perceptions regarding science and theology. This book is not about Christians versus atheists. This book is more about creation versus evolution than about Creationism versus Evolutionism. This book is about comparing various views, opinions and evidence related to evolution and creation. Some of the information being presented may be new to you and may take some time to digest. Evolutionists generally view creation in the same way that creationists generally view evolution. Opposing views are rarely taken seriously, as they are a contradiction to one's own bias. Whatever your current views are regarding the origins of the universe and life or level of knowledge of origins, this book is about considering various sides of the issue of evolution. In this book we will be comparing the evidence and arguments and then weighing the pros and cons in an attempt to determine the validity of each view. You will, however, be left to make your own decisions about each subject that is presented. This book may either strengthen your current views of origins or may cause you to re-think what you currently believe about origins. Whatever your views are regarding the origins of the universe and life, this book is about considering various sides of the issue of evolution. In this book the evidence and arguments will be presented for the reader to determine the validity of each view. Subjects such as: the origin of the universe, the age of the universe, the fossil evidence, the possibilities of a global flood, the origins of life, Stanley Miller's Experiment of 1953, the fossils in the strata of the earth, the components of evolution (Natural Selection, Adaptation, Mutations, Speciation, and Genetic Drift), Punctuated Equilibrium, Haeckel's Embryos and Recapitulation, Vestiges, Pseudogenes, Biological Complexity and Intelligent Design, Comparing biological similarities and differences between Chimpanzee and human genome, Comparing the Human and Ape Fossil Evidence, will be examined. Multiple top resources of various professions have been included in this book to provide information on the many different subjects discussed. Although this book is an in-depth study of evolution, it was written on the level so that the average teenager or adult will be able to understand what is being presented. Difficult words and terms are explained so that you will not need to consult a dictionary every time an unknown word or term appears. I attempted to present the subject matter on a level that most people will be able to easily understand. The various views and arguments are presented in a manner similar to having a debate. The aim of this book is to help either strengthen your current views of origins or cause you to re-think what you currently believe. It is hoped that at least you will develop a better appreciation for the opposing views and will better understand why those who believe in the opposing views believe as they do. I sincerely hope that this book will be beneficial to you whether you are se

This book answers fundamental questions not answered by either science or religion. How did our universe originate? Science says, “from the Big Bang”, but how did this come about? Religion says that it was created by God, but how did God originate? Our universe, with its relativity nature and quantum physics peculiarities, cannot exist by itself. Using five compelling axioms, this book proves that God evolved in the wider universe and created our sub-universe. Further questions like how did the wider universe come about are also answered logically.
