Mas a criptografia não serve apenas para manter o sigilo de dados confidenciais ou segredos de Estado. Também pode ser um excelente passatempo quando usada para criar ou solucionar quebra-cabeças e enigmas. Este livro tem como objetivo desmistificar a criptologia mostrando que seus princípios fundamentais são simples e eficientes. A crescente necessidade de maior mobilidade e as melhorias da tecnologia Wi-Fi, que permitem conexões mais rápidas e estáveis, combinadas com preços mais acessíveis, estão fazendo com que cada vez mais pessoas utilizem redes sem fio, aumentando a demanda por pontos de conexão, quer em locais de trânsito, quer em ambiente empresarial ou doméstico.
