Questo volume pone una domanda provocatoria, chiama in causa l’idea di clandestinità almeno in due diverse accezioni: una clandestinità subita, nel mancato riconoscimento di legittimità istituzionale e una clandestinità cercata ed esibita, nel rifiuto programmatico di riconoscere all’istituzione un potere legittimante. In entrambi i casi si tratta di un dialogo mancato, che ormai mostra i suoi limiti e i danni provocati, una peculiarità italiana che configura un grave ritardo rispetto agli altri paesi europei ed extraeuropei. Soprattutto nella distanza tra una tradizione e una pratica di studi ricca e consolidata, la critica femminista e di genere in Italianistica, e la sua presenza e visibilità istituzionale nei luoghi di formazione e di ricerca. Le studiose che contribuiscono al volume – attive nei diversi centri universitari italiani (Roma, Bari, Torino, Padova, Venezia, Catania, Pisa, Bologna, Napoli) e stranieri (Barcellona, Zurigo, Madrid, Parigi) – offrono contributi originali, di respiro internazionale e frutto di una competenza ed esperienza pluriennale nel vasto campo degli studi di genere e del femminismo, ad ulteriore testimonianza concreta della maturità di questi studi.

This volume contains the Proceedings of the ‘Uralic Studies’ Seminar: The State of the Art of Uralic Studies: Tradition vs Innovation, held in Padua (Italy), November 12-13, 2016. The seminar was organized by the Department of ‘Studi Linguistici e Letterari’ of Padua University and the ‘Facoltà di Lettere e Filosofia’ of Sapienza University of Rome. The aim of the seminar, and of this volume, was / is to bring together linguists working on the Uralic languages from different perspectives, with the purpose of increasing the exchange of ideas and fostering mutual influences on each other field and methods of analysis. Politics of Children in Latin American Cinema explores the trend of portraying children and adolescents in a subjective, adult-constructed point of view in Latin American cinema. This trend, in which the filmmakers are able to express their own anxieties while subordinating the child’s, draws new political implications to these constructions of children’s subjective character. Chapters in this volume touch on intersectional historic contexts, such as the Brazilian judicial system, Mexico’s youth protest, Venezuelan social crisis, the Southern Cone’s post-dictatorships, and race and gender issues in Peru, Ecuador, and Argentina to elucidate these implications and how they affect child agency. Contributors to this book argue for children’s increased agency in film and in society as they analyze films in which children have more active roles. These films mirror the shift toward filmmaking that emphasizes innovative narratives and aesthetic techniques that allow children to be portrayed as social commentators, rather than passive figures. Scholars of Latin American studies, film studies, history, sociology, race studies, and gender studies will find this book particularly useful.

The collective volume “Modern Forms of Work. A European Comparative Study” evokes the intent to embody a reflection focused on modern labour law issues from a comparative perspective. A first set of essays contains national reports on modern forms of work. The second group contains some reflections regarding critical issues on digitalization, platforms and algorithms, analysing the different facets of the galaxy of digital work. En Bolivia, el 9 de abril de 1952, despus de tres das de combates los trabajadores derrotaron al ejrcito nacional, arrebataron el poder poltico a la oligarqua e impusieron un gobierno al servicio del pueblo. Naci la Revolucin Nacional, una de las tres ms grandes realizadas en Latinoamrica durante el Siglo XX. El ensayo La Novela Revolucionaria. Contribucin a la Crtica demuestra que novellas publicadas durante el perodo pre revolucionario, provocaron cambios ideolgicos en las conciencias de los lectores populares, y de ese modo contribuyeron a la Revolucin Nacional Boliviana. Otras novelas escritas durante los aos del gobierno revolucionario, procuraron crear una conciencia en favor de una revolucin socialista. Al hacerlo instauraron un nuevo subgnero novelstico: La novela revolucionaria boliviana. El ensayo est enfocado en el anlisis dialctico de dos categoras: Historia y novela. Ofrece referencias conceptuales formuladas por tericos (Karl Marx, Georg Lukcs, Gerald Genette y Robert Jauss) que privilegian una crtica literaria basada en las interconexiones entre el desarrollo social y la cosmovisin que se expresa en las novellas que refl ejan, de uno u otro modo, dicha realidad. El ensayo precisa que la novella boliviana posee la capacidad de tomar de la vida de los trabajadores sus experiencias ms esenciales, y las expresa artsticamente. Siendo lo ms relevante el propsito de ayudarles a convertirse de una clase en s a una clase para s. El mrito del ensayo del Dr. Guido J. Arze es haber sabido demostrar que las novellas revolucionarias bolivianas ayudaron a promover la lucha armada liberadora, usndolas como vehculos de concientizacin, y con ello consagraron un nuevo subgnero: La novella revolucionaria boliviana. Novela que difi ere en cuanto a su funcin de sus semejantes las novelas de la Revolucin Mexicana y de la Revolucin Cubana.
