Curiosità introvabili Le cronache di De Petri consentono di scoprire cose dimenticate o, per gli abitanti giovani e meno giovani, di rtrovare nel baule dei ricordi riferimenti a gente conosciuta e scomparsa o di cercare parenti lontani dei quali conservare un imprevisto ricordo. Beura e Cardezza (per Cardezza v. le cronache), già comuni autonomi, furono riuniti in un unico comune a seguito del R. D. 6 settembre 1928. Nell’introduzione, De Petri rivela che proprio a Beura vivevano suoi lontani parenti, in particolare la trisnonna con la sua numerosa famiglia. Questo fatto l’ha ancor più motivato ad approfondire le cronache del borgo ossolano. In queste pagine sono raccolte storie di vita quotidiana: nascite, morti, inaugurazioni, incidenti, incendi, oltre alle vicende del Comune, della Parrocchia e alle tragiche notizie delle due guerre mondiali. In più, qualche leggenda locale. Il tutto estratto dagli articoli dei principali giornali ossolani, selezionando ciò che appare più interessante per descrivere come si svolgevano le quotidianità di quei luoghi.
