Vivemos em um mundo em que tudo acontece de maneira extremamente rápida: o tempo voa, as informações se espalham em instantes e tudo precisa ser feito com urgência. Hoje, muitos problemas podem ser apontados pelos adultos como “desculpas” para retirar o lúdico da vida de nossas crianças. E isso independe de os adultos autorizarem ou não a entrada do “ser estranho” (um tal de “lúdico”) nas escolas, visto que este adentra esses contextos nos corpos e mentes de quem se recusa a deixá-lo do lado de fora dessas instituições: a criança.

This book intends to be an alert to the fact that the curve measuring environmental costs against the economic benefits of capitalism has irreversibly entered into a negative phase. The prospect of an environmental collapse has been evidenced by the sciences and the humanities since the 1960s. Today, it imposes its urgency. This collapse differs from past civilizations in that it is neither local nor just civilizational. It is global and occurs at the broadest level of the biosphere, accelerated by the convergence of different socio-environmental crises, such as: Earth energy imbalance, climate change and global warming Sea-level rise Decrease and degradation of forests Collapse of terrestrial and aquatic biodiversity Floods, droughts, wildfires, and extreme weather events Degradation of soils and water resources Increase in pollution caused by fossil fuels and coal Increase in waste production and industrial intoxication The book is divided in two parts. In the first part it presents a comprehensive review of scientific data to show the already visible effects of each of the different environmental crises and its consequences to human life on Earth. In the second part, Luiz Marques critically discusses what he calls the three concentric illusions that prevent us from realizing the gravity of the current socio-environmental crises: the illusion of a sustainable capitalism, the illusion that economic growth is still capable of providing more well-being and the anthropocentric illusion. Finally, Marques argues that "fitting" back into the biosphere will only be possible if we dismantle the expansive socioeconomic gear that has shaped our societies since the 16th century by moving from a Social Contract to a Natural Contract, which takes into account the whole biosphere. Um olhar sobre a relação escola, família e atendimento educacional especializado resultou da pesquisa Relação entre Escola e Família dos Educandos Participantes no Atendimento Educacional Especializado, realizada durante o curso de pós-graduação Stricto Sensu – mestrado acadêmico em Educação, da Universidade do Planalto Catarinense (Uniplac). A obra caracteriza-se por pesquisa de natureza documental e teórico-bibliográfica, trazendo aprofundamentos conceituais na revisão de literatura sobre pessoas com Deficiências, Transtornos Globais do Desenvolvimento, Superdotação/Altas Habilidades e as relações família e escola e vice-versa, com destaque para o AEE, desenvolvido nas Salas de Recursos Multifuncionais do país, em especial do município de Lages-SC. Apresenta dados da pesquisa de campo, por amostragem, realizada com pais de estudantes regularmente matriculados e que frequentaram as salas de AEE das escolas municipais lageanas até o ano de 2016, bem como com professores que atuaram nas salas de AEE no período pesquisado. This work presents landmark research concerning the vital dynamics of childhood psychological development. It's origin can be traced to the late 1970s, when several psychologists began to challenge existing notions of cognitive development by suggesting that such functioning is bound to specific contexts and that cognitive development is based on the mastery of culturally defined ways of speaking, thinking, and acting. About the same time, several translations were made available in this country of the seminal work of Vygotsky, the noted theoretician, offering a conceptual base on which these workers could build. This volume, with contributions from many of the scholars who pioneered this area and translated the work of Vygotsky, looks at the complex mechanisms by which children acquire the cultural and linguistic tools to carry out cognitive activities and explores the implications of this research for education. The book is organized around three main parts: Discourse and Learning in Classroom Practice, Interpersonal Relations in Formal and Informal Education, and The Sociocultural Institutions of Formal and Informal Education.; An afterword by Jacqueline Goodnow suggests new directions for sociocultural research and education. The intended audience is composed of developmental, educational, and cognitive psychologists, along with advanced students in developmental and educational psychology.
