Quando nasce un bambino con disabilità visiva gli interrogativi più naturali («A chi assomiglia?») si intrecciano con interrogativi più complessi («Com’è accaduto? Perché proprio mio figlio? Il libro è arricchito da una sezione di testimonianze di genitori, parenti e amici di bambini con deficit visivo: qui sono raccolte le considerazioni riferite alle sensazioni e alle emozioni provate alla nascita del bambino, ai pensieri e alle riflessioni presenti, alle prospettive future.
