Für viele Kinder findet Kindheit heute zu einem großen Teil im institutionalisierten Rahmen statt. Der Erfahrungs- und Lebensalltag eines Kindes und damit das Kindsein dürfen und können ist von einem stetigen sich wandelnden und gegenseitig bedingenden gesellschaftlichen Veränderungs- und Entwicklungsprozess beeinflusst. Dies hat zur Folge, dass pädagogische Institutionen wie Kindergärten oder Krippen familienbegleitend arbeiten und sich neuen Aufgaben und Herausforderungen stellen müssen. Wo und wie können sich hier authentische Lebensprozesse für die Kinder ergeben? Unterschiedliche Erfahrungen während meiner waldorfpädagogischen Erzieherausbildung, begleitenden Praktika und folgenden Berufspraxis haben mich zum einen zu der Erkenntnis geführt, dass der KinderGarten ein idealer Ort dafür sein kann. Als Teil im und um das Außengelände herum umfasst der KinderGarten u. a. freie Flächen, Hecken, Beete, Sitzgelegenheiten. Das damit verbundene Gärtnern ist im vorliegenden Arbeitspapier weit gefasst und wird als eine lebensechte Tätigkeit verstanden, bei der es zu jeder Jahreszeit für alle beteiligten Menschen immer etwas Sinnvolles zu tun gibt und die gesundend auf diese und ihre Umgebung wirken kann. Eine Möglichkeit für Kindergartenkinder, um das echte Leben, im kleinen geschützten Rahmen des KinderGartens, lernen zu können über beobachten, verweilen, staunen, tätigsein, forschen, warten, probieren, genießen, freuen, langweilen. Zum anderen hat sich immer wieder die Frage gestellt, welche Aspekte für einsteigende und angehende pädagogische Fachkräfte interessant sein können, um sich im realen Kindergartenalltagstrubel zeitnah in die Thematik einarbeiten und einen leichten Beginn in der Praxis finden zu können. Dieses solide und auf das Wesentliche reduzierte Arbeitspapier ist ein Beitrag und damit eine Ergänzung zur thematischen Grundlagenarbeit, das die Freude am Gärtnern vor Ort mit den Kindergartenkindern vermittelt und reichhaltige Impulse gibt, um einen Blick hinter seinen tieferen Sinn zu wagen, sowie weitere Forschungsprozesse anregt.

Children are the most criminally victimized segment of the population, and a substantial number face multiple, serious "poly-victimizations" during a single year.
