Oktober desselben Jahres auf deutsch veröffentlicht. Doch noch immer ist kein Ende des „Hypes“ um Harry Potter abzusehen, was an den Verfilmungen, Fansites und Lexika ersichtlich ist. Die Romanreihe Rowlings hat jedoch definitiv ihr Ende gefunden. Grund genug für eine umfassende linguistische Analyse. Diese Arbeit wird sich hauptsächlich mit der siebenteiligen Buchreihe befassen. Dabei sollen die deutsche und die britische Originalfassung einander gegenüber gestellt werden, wo es sich anbietet. In Kapitel 5.4, welches die Übersetzungsproblematik thematisiert, werden zusätzlich die italienische und niederdeutsche Fassung herangezogen.
