Pochi manoscritti ci sono arrivati dal medioevo, questo è uno di essi. Filippo Vadi ci lascia una pietra miliare della scherma storica con un trattato che ci illustra le basi del combattimento e ci insegna a scegliere la spada adatta alle nostre dimensioni. Sono chiare le influenze di Fiore dei Liberi, sui quali trattati sicuramente Vadi ha potuto studiare mentre era alla corte degli Este. Come sempre ti propongo una traduzione asciutta e più vicina all'originale possibile.
