In recent years, few voices have been as influential in the debate over the existence of God and the value of religion as Richard Dawkins. A distinguished biologist, Dawkins has used his scientific acumen to critique religious faith in works such as "The God Delusion." But it is necessary to ask: Does Dawkins present an unassailable argument? Is faith truly the "delusion" he claims it to be? In "Debunking Dawkins - A Christian Response," we seek to answer these questions and offer a thoughtful, reasoned counter-argument to the claims of Dawkins and the New Atheist movement. The intellectual tussle between science and faith is not new. However, Dawkins has contributed a layer of fervor to this longstanding debate, portraying religion as not just incorrect, but actively harmful. This book is not an attack on Dawkins as a person or a scientist, but a critical examination of his arguments against religious belief, particularly Christianity.

Bertrand Russell remains a towering figure in the annals of modern philosophy, logic, and critical thinking. His contributions span multiple disciplines, from mathematics to social advocacy. Yet, Russell is also well-known for his vehement critique of religious beliefs, most notably Christianity. His work, "Why I Am Not a Christian," stands as an emblem of his skepticism, challenging the tenets of Christianity from a logical standpoint. But what if Russell's skepticism was subject to its own critique? What if his arguments against Christianity failed the very tests of logic, coherence, and ethical substance that he himself had set? This book, "Debunking Bertrand Russell: A Christian Response," aims to unravel the multiple dimensions of Russell's skepticism towards Christianity and counter them from a Christian worldview. The intention is not to diminish Russell's monumental contributions to human thought but to subject them to the kind of rigorous analysis that Russell himself advocated. The Christian response to Russell's skepticism is not an endeavor to propagate dogma but an intellectual exercise in the search for truth. Russell advocated for a worldview based on evidence and reason, yet his own arguments against Christianity often falter in these very aspects. This book seeks to hold Russell's critiques to account, dissecting them on their logical merits, moral implications, and ontological assumptions. Each chapter in this book will tackle a significant aspect of Russell's thought, dissecting it, and offering a counter-argument from a Christian perspective. From his most famous work, "Why I Am Not a Christian," to his views on morality, love, and even his contributions to logic and mathematics, no stone will be left unturned.

In recent years, the intellectual landscape has seen an increasing influence of atheistic thinkers who rigorously challenge religious beliefs. Among these voices, Sam Harris stands out for his wide-ranging critique that spans issues from free will to morality, and from consciousness to religion. His ideas, extensively publicized in best-selling books like "The End of Faith," "The Moral Landscape," and others, have garnered a significant following. For the average Christian who may not be familiar with complex theological or philosophical concepts, Harris's arguments may seem insurmountable. But is the case against Christianity that Harris presents truly undefeatable? This book, "Refuting Sam Harris: A Christian Apologist's Guide," aims to delve into the primary assertions made by Harris and to scrutinize them from a Christian worldview. This is not just another book that preaches to the choir. Instead, we will objectively analyze Harris's arguments and counter them where they fall short, providing a robust defense for the Christian faith.

In Catholic Progressives in England after Vatican II, Jay P. Corrin traces the evolution of Catholic social and theological thought from the end of World War II through the 1960s that culminated in Vatican Council II. He focuses on the emergence of reformist thinking as represented by the Council and the corresponding responses triggered by the Church's failure to expand the promises, or expectations, of reform to the satisfaction of Catholics on the political left, especially in Great Britain. The resistance of the Roman Curia, the clerical hierarchy, and many conservative lay men and women to reform was challenged in 1960s England by a cohort of young Catholic intellectuals for whom the Council had not gone far enough to achieve what they believed was the central message of the social gospels, namely, the creation of a community of humanistic socialism. This effort was spearheaded by members of the English Catholic New Left, who launched a path-breaking journal of ideas called Slant. What made Slant revolutionary was its success in developing a coherent philosophy of revolution based on a synthesis of the “New Theology” fueling Vatican II and the New Left’s Marxist critique of capitalism. Although the English Catholic New Left failed to meet their revolutionary objectives, their bold and imaginative efforts inspired many younger Catholics who had despaired of connecting their faith to contemporary social, political, and economic issues. Corrin’s analysis of the periodical and of such notable contributors as Terry Eagleton and Herbert McCabe explains the importance of Slant and its associated group within the context of twentieth-century English Catholic liberal thought and action.

Neither will this paper be a work of advocacy of atheism nor of religion and faith but a not tendentious culture-scientific study on contemporary atheism in the USA and its model of secularism as it is presented in the Internet.
