By the end of GODAE, many countries had established operational ocean forecast systems and mature ocean reanalysis systems. These developments further improved under OceanPredict and are now being extended under several Programs and Projects under the United Nations Ocean Decade, including ForeSea, SynObs, and CoastPredict.
