Das bekannteste Bild des Kessels von Gundestrup ist sicherlich der Gott Cernunnos, der auf seinem Kopf ein Hirschgeweih trägt, wie ein Yogi dasitzt und in seiner Hand eine Schlange hält. Aber warum sitzt ein Hirschgott zwischen den verschiedensten Tieren und meditiert? Wenn man sich die übrigen zwölf Bilder auf dem Kessel in Ruhe betrachtet, beginnt allmählich eine Geschichte deutlich zu werden – ein Ritual, bei dem ein Mann ins Jenseits und wieder zurück reist. Man kann um diese Bilder immer weitere Kreise zu ziehen: Gab es bei den Kelten eine solche Zeremonie? Kannten alle Indogermanen eine solche Symbolik? Hatten alle Völker, die wie die Indogermanen von den mesopotamischen Ackerbauern zu Beginn der Jungsteinzeit abstammen (z.B. die Ägypter und Sumerer), eine solche Mythe wie die, die der Kessel von Gundestrup erzählt? Nach dieser Weitung der Kreise um die Bilder des Kessels kann man dann Schritt für Schritt wieder ins Hier und Jetzt zurückkehren, wobei sich neue Fragen ergeben: Sind solche Jenseitsreisen wie die, die die Bilder des Kessels erzählen, wirklich real? Wenn man sie ein wenig anders bezeichnet, kann man sie auch heute wiederfinden: das Nahtod-Erlebnis, bei dem man mit der eigenen Seele den Körper verläßt und über ihm schwebt und ihn dabei unter sich liegen sieht. Dies Erlebnis zeigt sehr eindrücklich, daß man mehr ist als nur der materielle Körper ... Und schließlich kommt man bei der Rückkehr zum Hier und Jetzt auch zu der Frage: Was kann der Kessel von Gundestrup für mein eigenes Leben bedeuten? Ich würde mich freuen, wenn das Buch einige Leser zu einem Ausflug in die Mythen der frühen Kelten und in die eigene innere Bilderwelt einlädt und sie ein wenig bereichert und ihnen neue Möglichkeiten zeigt.

Studienarbeit aus dem Jahr 2022 im Fachbereich Theologie - Vergleichende Religionswissenschaft, Note: 1, Wirtschaftsuniversität Wien (Religionswissenschaft), Veranstaltung: Seminar, Sprache: Deutsch, Abstract: Der Kessel von Gundestrup gehört zu den eindrucksvollsten Funden der Kelten aus der La Tene Zeit. 1891 entdecken dänische Arbeiter beim Torfstechen dreizehn Silberplatten in der Nähe des Ortes Gundestrup auf Jütland. Sie ergeben zusammengesetzt einen großen silbernen, teils vergoldeten Kessel mit einem Rand aus einem Eisenring. Der Durchmesser des Kessels beträgt rund 70 cm, die Höhe rund 42 cm. Auf den Silberplatten finden sich mythologische Darstellungen, die vermutlich Einblick in die religiösen Vorstellungen „der“ Kelten geben. Hatt gibt in seinem Artikel im Katalog zur Salzburger Landesausstellung 19802 eine fantasievolle Interpretation der Darstellungen auf den Kesselplatten ab. Diese Arbeit beschäftigt sich mit der Frage, ob Hatts Darstellungen in wissenschaftlichen Kreisen unwidersprochen sind und ob seine Interpretationen die einzig Möglichen sind. Am Ende der Arbeit soll ein Ausblick auf zukünftige Forschungsarbeiten gegeben werden.

Best known are the seven main chakras: Root Chakra, Hara, Solar Plexus, Heart Chakra, Throat Chakra, Third Eye and Crown Chakra. But they are not the only chakras - there are also, for example, the minor chakras in the arms and the legs. Of particular interest are also the intermediate chakras between the main chakras, which limit their "lands" like borders with gates that can "pump" the life force from one chakra to another and play an important role in the formation and resolution of trauma. The chakras are the "organs" of the life force body. Just as the physical body has a blood circulation, the life force body also has a "life force circulation": the Kundalini, which flows in the three central "veins" of the Sushumna and Ida and Pingala. Furthermore, there is a special form of secondary chakras that transform the images in the chakras into "docking points" for the outside world: the kshetrams and the aura points. They correspond to the sense organs and the hands of the physical body. In order to be able to grasp this complex system, which is nevertheless constructed in a very simple and coherent way, in all its details and in its great elegance, this book compares the knowledge of the chakras of different peoples, the acupuncture points of Chinese Medicine, the Marma points from Indian Ayurveda and the Rang-Dröl points from Tibetan Medicine. The result of these considerations is the description of the meaningful attitude in life - after all, the chakras are also the "organs" of the psyche and their "healthy state" therefore is also the "healthy attitude" of a person.

Since about 1985, crop circles have become a more well-known phenomenon. In the meantime, about 10,000 crop circles have appeared in more than 50 countries. However, well over half of them come from southern England in the area of Stonehenge, Woodhenge, Silbury Hill, White Horse and other prehistoric monuments. Some of them can be proved to have been made by humans, but others just as certainly have not been made by humans - this is not the starting situation one would wish for as a researcher ... In the present book 300 of these crop circles are examined more closely. It turns out that they contain approx. 100 elements which appear in many crop circles. Their geometrical form has an easily recognizable meaning. Therefore, with the help of these "words", the crop circles composed of them can be read like "sentences". The meaning is almost always the same: a representation of how individuality unfolds. Therefore, there are many similarities with astrology or the chakra system, for example. This analytical approach is complemented by 50 dream journeys into individual crop circles, which makes the picture that arises from the analytical observation of the crop circles even more rounded. Thereby a first impression can be gained of the language of the collective subconsciousness - which words and which grammar it uses: It is a "music of geometry".
