Biografische Anmerkung Pavel Kohout, 1928 in Prag geboren, zählt zu den international bekanntesten Schriftstellern und Dramatikern. Als einer der Wortführer des "Prager Frühlings" von 1968 wurde er aus der Kommunistischen Partei ausgeschlossen und über 20 Jahre totgeschwiegen. Mitverfasser der "Charta 77", daraufhin 1979 ausgebürgert. Zu seinen bekanntesten Werken gehören "Die Henkerin" (1978), "Wo der Hund begraben liegt" (1987) und "Sternstunde der Mörder" (1995). 2010 erschien seine Autobiografie "Mein tolles Leben mit Hitler, Stalin und Havel". Pavel Kohout lebt heute wieder in Prag.
