Theologische Fakultät), Veranstaltung: Die Propheten des Alten Testamets, Sprache: Deutsch, Abstract: Das Thema der folgenden Arbeit ist „Der persönliche und sozial¬geschichtliche Hintergrund des Propheten Jesaja“. Zur Erörterung seines komplexen Persönlichkeitsprofils werde ich mir zunächst seine Lebensdaten anschauen und danach anhand der in der Bibel vorhanden Texte, die von ihm handeln, detaillierter über seine Persönlichkeit, seine Abstammung, sowie sein soziales Umfeld schreiben. Ziel ist es herauszufinden, was für ein Typ Mensch der Prophet Jesaja war: Ein eher schüchterner, zurückhaltender Typ oder eher ein selbstbewusster, aufdringlicher Prophet? Zudem will ich schauen, wie sich der historische Hintergrund in seiner Prophetie widerspiegelt. Vergleichend dazu werde ich auch andere Propheten und deren Lebenssituationen heranziehen und schauen, ob sich Aufgrund der unterschiedlichen persönlichen und/oder historischen Hintergründe Unterschiede oder Gemeinsamkeiten ergeben. Ausdrücklich möchte ich erwähnen, dass ich mich in meiner Arbeit nur auf den ursprünglichen Propheten Jesaja beziehe. Diesem werden die Kapitel 1-39 im Buch Jesaja zu geschrieben. Diesem so genannten Protojesaja folgen im Buch Jesaja die Propheten Deutero- und Tritojesaja. Diese beiden sind mit dem ursprünglichen Jesaja nicht verwandt. Möglicherweise waren es seine Schüler oder Personen, die im seinem Namen handelten und schrieben, vielleicht sind sie sich aber auch nie begegnet. Die Namen Protojesaja, Deuterojesaja und Tritojesaja sind reine erfundene Kunstnamen, die lediglich der besseren Unterscheidung dienen. In dieser Arbeit ist es nicht sinnvoll, Deutero- und Tritojesaja ebenfalls auf ihre persönlichen und sozialen Hintergründe zu untersuchen, weil auch die dahinter stehenden Personen sich nicht nur in ihrer Prophetie, sondern auch in ihren Lebensläufen deutlich unterscheiden
