Die Erwachsenenbildung ist ein großes Thema unserer Zeit. Mit der fortschreitenden Internationalisierung und Globalisierung scheint ihr Stellenwert in Zukunft noch zuzunehmen - sowohl für den Einzelnen als auch für die Gesellschaft insgesamt. Prozesse der Indivdualisierung und Pluralisierung, Aspekte des Wertewandels und der Veränderung der Lebensstile erfordern permanente Anpas sungsleistungen in privater, beruflicher und gesellschaftlicher Hinsicht. Die neue Differenzierung in soziale Milieus in einer pluralen Gesellschaft und damit die Forderung nach sozialer Integration sind Kernfragen gegenwärtiger Erwachsenen bildung bzw. Weiterbildung. Die Diskussionen über Konsequenzen einer Wissens gesellschaft zeigen die überragende Funktion von Bildung und die Notwendigkeit ständigen Weiterlernens. Dies gilt nicht nur für den Einzelnen, sondern für die Ge sellschaft insgesamt im Sinne einer Lerngesellschaft, in der dem selbstgesteuerten »Weiterlernen aller« eine überragende Bedeutung zukommt. Permanentes Lernen hat die Grenzen des organisierten Lernens in traditionellen Einrichtungen gesprengt. Es bewegt sich zwischen den Polen des »Lernen en pas sant« über autodidaktisches Lernen bis hin zur Weiterbildung »als Fortsetzung oder Wiederaufnahme organisierten Lernens nach Abschluss einer unterschiedlich aus gedehnten ersten Bildungsphase«.

Länder - Europa ab kaltem Krieg, , Sprache: Deutsch, Abstract: Mit dieser Arbeit möchte ich zum einen der Frage nachgehen, welche Gründe für die Entscheidung ausschlaggebend waren, den Wohnsitz in der Bundesrepublik beibehalten zu wollen und zum anderen, welche Faktoren notwendig sind, um die Identifizierung und somit Integration der türkischstämmigen Migranten in die deutsche Gesellschaft zu ermöglichen. Als Gastarbeiter werden Personen betitelt, die meist aufgrund wirtschaftlicher Nöte aus dem Heimatland auswandern, um für einen befristeten Zeitraum im Ausland zu arbeiten und zu wohnen. Der Begriff löste den vorherigen Begriff "Fremdarbeiter" ab, der zuvor in den 1960er Jahre in der Bundesrepublik entstand. Deutschland gilt nicht erst seit den Kriegen und der wirtschaftlichen Ausbeutungen dritter Länder der letzten Jahrzehnte als Einwanderungsland für Flüchtlinge. Viele, denen wir als Mitmenschen begegnen und die für manche als "Fremde" gelten, leben eigentlich schon als Nachkomme in der zweiten oder dritten Generation in Deutschland. Die meisten türkischstämmigen Mitmenschen sind hier in Deutschland geboren, besuchten gemeinsame Kindergartenstätten und Schulen und wurden später zu Mitarbeitern, Arbeitgebern oder Angestellten. Doch was die Wenigsten wissen, ist dass sie selbst mal als eingeladene Gäste kamen und seither immer noch hier leben. Die Bevölkerung weist im Vergleich zu vielen anderen europäischen Ländern keine Homogenität auf. Aufgrund dessen besteht die Herausforderung Deutschlands darin, unterschiedliche Interessen, angemessen in einem System mit zahlreichen Menschen aus verschiedenen Kulturen, zu vereinigt. Somit hat Deutschland eine spezifische Integrationsaufgabe, um als gemeinschaftlicher Lebensraum zu dienen. Doch viele Migranten hatten und haben, aufgrund von schlechten Erfahrungen in Form von Ablehnung durch Mitbürger, immer noch Angst, dass durch eine Integration kulturelle und religiöse Assimilation verlangt wird. Dies führte dazu, dass viele Mitglieder der türkischstämmigen Migrantengruppe weiterhin in Parallelgesellschaften lebten und der Integrationsprozess bis zum heutigen Datum stagniert. Auf der anderen Seite gibt es unter den Migranten viele Politiker, Literaten, Komödianten usw. Ebenso ist die Zahl an beruflich erfolgreichen Personen mit Migrationshintergrund, die ein hervorragendes Beispiel dafür darstellen, wie Menschen aus verschiedenen Kulturen auf Basis der Toleranz und Gleichberechtigung miteinander leben können, groß.
