Studienarbeit aus dem Jahr 2005 im Fachbereich Germanistik - Neuere Deutsche Literatur, Note: 1,3, Technische Universität Dresden, Veranstaltung: Deutschsprachige Kurzprosa, 10 Quellen im Literaturverzeichnis, Sprache: Deutsch, Abstract: Es war ein Zitat der Ilse Aichinger, welches mich auf die Schriftstellerin sowie ihre Werke aufmerksam und neugierig machte. Ich wollte erfahren, wie sie ihre Werke gestaltet und strukturiert, wenn sie nur die wichtigsten Zusammenhänge herstellen möchte und wie bzw. ob es ihr gelingt diesen Anspruch an sich selbst und ihre Werke umzusetzen. Mit dem Seminar "deutschsprachige Kurzprosa" bot sich mir eine gute Gelegenheit, mich intensiv mit einer ihrer Kurzgeschichten zu beschäftigen und eventuell Antworten auf diese Fragen zu finden. In der folgenden Arbeit möchte ich die Ergebnisse dieser Auseinandersetzung darstellen, ich werde anschließend Ilse Aichinger vorstellen und ihre Kurzgeschichte "Wo ich wohne" analysieren und interpretieren. Dazu möchte ich kurz auf ihre Biographie eingehen und anschließend die Kurzgeschichte auf sprachlicher Ebene analysieren und den Versuch unternehmen den Inhalt der Kurzgeschichte zu interpretieren. Besonders interessant erschien mir auch der Aspekt, dass diese 1952 entstandene Kurzgeschichte als besonders charakteristisch für die Eigenarten von Ilse Aichingers Werken bezeichnet wird.1 Folgende Literaturquellen gaben mir bei meiner Kurzgeschichteninterpretation Hilfestellung. Zur Vorgehensweise bei einer solchen Arbeit gibt das Buch, "Wie interpretiert man eine Novelle und eine Kurzgeschichte?" von Hans-Dieter Gelfert, wichtige Hinweise. Informationen zu Ilse Aichingers Leben und Werk enthalten u.a. die Bücher von Samuel Moser und Gisela Lindemann. Eine konkrete Interpretationshilfe zur Kurzgeschichte "Wo ich wohne" bietet das Buch "Interpretationshilfen deutsche Kurzgeschichten 1945 - 1968" von Rainer Könecke.
