Aún hoy parecieran no interesar las estéticas de la América antigua, que involucren fundamentos con praxis, y descripción iconográfica con interpretación iconológica de su expresión. Trata de dar una respuesta acorde del diseño de la obra, artesanal o artística, para considerarla como lo que es y no sólo un documento de especulación histórica. Es hora de teorizar con lo propio de la plástica: su filosofía.
