Koch und M. Kruck veröffentlichten Kriterien orientiert. Nach allgemeinen Informationen über die Autorin und Illustratorin konzentriert sich die Analyse vor allem auf die inhaltliche Analyse, die Stilanalyse und abschließend auf die didaktisch-methodische Fragestellung. Das letzte Kapitel „Didaktische Überlegungen“ beinhaltet die Fragestellung, wie und in welchem Zusammenhang das Thema: „Tod und Trauer“ in der Schule eingeführt werden kann. Ist fächerübergreifender Unterricht zu dem Thema sinnvoll oder überhaupt möglich? Abschließend werden Lernziele und -chancen aufgezeigt, die mit der Einführung des Themas erreicht und umgesetzt werden sollen. Die Schlussbetrachtung beinhaltet eine Reflexion und Bewertung des Erarbeiteten.

In den zahlreichen Lehrplänen und Vorbeugemaßnahmen der Schule gibt es keine Strategien zum unbeliebten, aber stets präsenten Thema Tod. Auch in der Gesellschaft lässt sich im Umgang mit dem Thema "Tod und Trauer" oft eine allgemeine Sprachlosigkeit feststellen. Vor allem wenn es darum geht, mit Kindern über dieses Thema zu sprechen. Häufig wird die Realität verkannt, indem viele Erwachsene der Meinung sind, dass Kinder noch nicht mit dem Sterben konfrontiert werden sollten, weil sie noch zu jung seien. Dennoch werden kleine Kinder bereits durch die Medien mit dem Tod konfrontiert und trauern nach einem Todesfall genauso wie Erwachsene. Wenn eine nahestehende Person stirbt, benötigen Kinder verständnisvolle Erwachsene und Hilfsmittel, die sie bei ihrer Trauer begleiten und ihnen beistehen. Im Hauptteil der Arbeit erfolgen eine Analyse und ein Vergleich zweier Bilderbücher, die Trauer und Tod auf unterschiedliche Weise behandeln. Es soll dargestellt werden, wie die Thematik in Bilderbüchern, die selbstverständlich zum Repertoire jeder Kinderentwicklung gehören, aufgearbeitet wird. Im Anschluss gehe ich darauf ein, wie das Medium Bilderbuch in Bezug auf Tod und Trauer im Unterricht eingesetzt werden kann. In einem abschließenden Fazit fasse ich meine Ergebnisse zusammen.

The authenticity of the killing orders signed by Ottoman Interior Minister Talat Pasha and the memoirs of the Ottoman bureaucrat Naim Efendi have been two of the most contested topics in this regard. The denialist school has long argued that these documents and memoirs were all forgeries, produced by Armenians to further their claims. Taner Akçam provides the evidence to refute the basis of these claims and demonstrates clearly why the documents can be trusted as authentic, revealing the genocidal intent of the Ottoman-Turkish government towards its Armenian population. As such, this work removes a cornerstone from the denialist edifice, and further establishes the historicity of the Armenian Genocide.
