Das Thema Gesundheit unter Erzählperspektive zu beleuchten ist gewinnbringend, denn während die fachlichen Inhalte des Gesundheitsnarrativs sehr weitreichend erkundet werden, sind seine begleitenden erzählerischen Elemente kaum beforscht, obwohl sie z.B. Aufschluss darüber geben können, warum der Waschbrettbauch den Wohlstandsbauch als sichtbares Zeichen von erfolgreicher Lebensführung ablösen konnte und wie das Erzählen diese Wirklichkeitstransformation begleitet hat. Beim faktual-fiktionalen Gesundheitsnarrativ geht es also nicht um die Wahrheit und nichts als die Wahrheit, sondern erzählt wird eine spannende Geschichte über Wohlsein und Wehklagen, tugendhafte und sündige Lebensweisen, fitte Gewinner und matte Verlierer.
