Die in der vorliegenden Studie rekonstruierte Grammatik des Coachens kann zum einen für die Beurteilung von Coachingprozessen und zum anderen dafür genutzt werden, professionelles Coachen systematisch zu lernen. Coaching kann man lernen wie eine Fremdsprache. Denn es ist eine Art „Fremdsprache“ in der eigenen Muttersprache. Das Wesentliche dieser „Fremdsprache“ ist ihre soziale Grammatik, d.h. die coachingspezifischen Regeln des Umgangs mit dem Klienten und seiner Coachingthematik. Die empirische Studie konnte zeigen, dass diese Regeln markante Besonderheiten aufweisen, mit denen sie sich klar erkennbar von Alltagskommunikation, Schulung, Training und Fachberatung unterscheiden.
