Studienarbeit aus dem Jahr 2003 im Fachbereich Soziologie - Medien, Kunst, Musik, Note: 2, Ludwig-Maximilians-Universität München (Institut für Soziologie), Veranstaltung: Theorie 1: Einführung in soziologische Theorien , Sprache: Deutsch, Abstract: Die vorliegende Hausarbeit beschäftigt sich mit der Konstruktion von Gesellschaft am Beispiel des Films "The Matrix", also mit konstruierten Wirklichkeiten, die dem Menschen real erscheinen. Die Darstellung der Konstruktivismustheorie beschränkt sich auf die Wiedergabe der Techniken, wie sie in "Die gesellschaftliche Konstruktion der Wirklichkeit" von Peter L. Berger und Thomas Luckmann vorgestellt werden. Dieses 1969 erschienene Buch gilt als Klassiker des Sozialkonstruktivismus, in dem mit Hilfe der Wissenssoziologie die "gesellschaftliche Konstruktion der Wirklichkeit analysiert werden soll". Mit Hilfe der dort aufgestellten Theorie werde ich versuchen, den Film "The Matrix" zu analysieren, der als Paradebeispiel einer künstlich erschaffenen - also konstruierten - Welt gesehen werden kann.

Dabei stellt sich jedoch beim näheren Betrachten des Rauschdiskurses ein durchaus interessantes Spannungsfeld dar: Auf der einen Seite erfährt das Thema Drogen und Rausch eine problematisierende Bewertung im herrschenden Diskurs und auf der anderen Seite wird der Rausch mit Hilfe von (legalen und illegalen) Drogen durch das Subjekt scheinbar doch immer wieder gesucht. Svenja Korte analysiert das Konstrukt Rausch, dessen Ausgestaltung, Bewertungen und Vorstellungen, die es bestimmen sowie die Funktionalität, die es erfährt.

Not only being received positively by critics and having a worldwide gross profit of over 463 million dollars with a budget of 63 million dollars, The Matrix by the Wachowski Brothers quickly gained a cult following for it’s highly professional fighting scenes, revolutionary special effects and steampunk atmosphere. It spawned two even more successful and anticipated sequels four years later, three video games, comic books and an anime spin-off. But what really made The Matrix a mentionable film was not it’s focus on action scenes, but it’s complex storyline and a wide range of possible Interpretation and Intertextuality. This seminar paper will give you a glimpse of how far those two points can reach. It will summarize the plot of The Matrix first, then it will interpret the points in the movie, that seem unclear and confusing to the viewer and last but not least explain the most notable references and the Intertextuality to works, that inspired the movie. Inhaltsangabe:Problemstellung: Wenn von Nachhaltigem Tourismus als zukunftsorientierte Form des Ferntourismus die Rede ist, so stellt sich zuerst einmal ein Definitionsproblem dar. Das gilt nicht unbedingt für die theoretischen Anforderungen, die an das ambivalente Gebilde des Nachhaltigen Tourismus gestellt werden, denn diese sind im Allgemeinen sehr konform. Was jedoch die Schwierigkeit der Thematik ausmacht, ist eher die Praxis, der im Speziellen betrachtete Einzelfall. In ganz konkreten touristischen Destinationen1, wie am Titicacasee, muss permanent entschieden werden, wo die Grenzen der Nachhaltigkeit liegen: Welche Formen des praktizierten Fremdenverkehrs werden einer zukunftsorientierten und ressourcenschonenden Wirtschaftsweise gerecht und wo überwiegen ökonomische Interessen zum Leitwesen der Ökologie und der Soziokultur? Zudem ergibt sich aus der Komplexität des Ferntourismus eine gewisse Betrachtungsproblematik. Das verflochtene Zusammenspiel zwischen globaler Makroebene und lokaler Mikroebene wird von zahlreichen Entwicklungsfaktoren bestimmt, die oft nicht vorhersehbar sind. Betrachtet man auf der Makroebene eher ökonomische, politische und klimatische Faktoren mit globaler Vernetzung, so scheinen auf der Mikroebene sehr spezielle soziokulturelle, wirtschaftliche und physische Gegebenheiten in den touristischen Destinationen eine allgemeine Konzeption zu erschweren. Dieser Problematik bewusst, sollen zwei Fragestellungen den Verlauf der Arbeit bestimmen: - Kann der Ferntourismus neben seinen Belastungen auch eine Chance für Ressourcenmanagement, Naturerhaltung und Überlebensstrategien einheimischer Bevölkerungsgruppen darstellen? - Existiert in den Fallbeispielen Isla de Taquile und Península de Capachica2 eine derartige bewahrende Form von Nachhaltigem Tourismus und wo liegen die konkreten Probleme? In dieser Diplomarbeit soll es weniger darum gehen, ob sich der Nachhaltige Tourismus in den untersuchten Destinationen für die Partizipanten (insbesondere die lokale Bevölkerung) und den Schutz der Naturreservate finanziell rechnet. Angesichts der langen und bislang erfolgreichen Vermarktung des Kulturtourismus auf der Isla de Taquile und dem sich mittlerweile wirtschaftlich lohnenden naturtouristischen Gewerbe in Llachón (auf der Halbinsel Capachica) steht dies nicht zwingend zur Diskussion.
