Neben einer Vorstellung der jeweiligen Phanomene wird auch Kritik an Volksmusik und -tanz besprochen sowie die Andlermusik als Gattung der Volksmusik betrachtet. Abschliessend wird die Behandlung des Themas "Schweiz" in der Grundschule kurz beleuchtet. Das Referat beginnt mit einem Gedicht von Robert Walser, das um 1930 entstanden ist. Es eignet sich gut zum Einstieg, da es die geographische Lage von Schweiz zum Ausdruck bringt. Die Schweiz grenzt an Deutschland im Norden und an Osterreich im Osten an. Frankreich und Italien sind ebenso Nachbarlander der Schweiz. An dieser Stelle wird eine Landkarte gezeigt. Die Hauptstadt der Schweiz ist Bern. Im Jahr 2013 zahlt die sie ca. 8, 1 Millionen Einwohner. Drei landwirtschaftliche Grossraume bilden das Land, aufgeteilt in die Jura, das Mittelland und die Alpen mit den Voralpen. In der Bundesverfassung der Schweizerischen Eidgenossenschaft steht: Die Landessprachen sind Deutsch, Franzosisch, Italienisch und Ratoromanisch." Wo die jeweiligen Amtssprachen gesprochen werden, wird auf einer Landkarte gezeigt. Im deutschsprachigen Teil der Schweiz werden schweizerdeutsche Dialekte gesprochen. Geschriebenes wird in der Regel in Schweizer Hochdeutsch verfasst. Schweizer Hochdeutsch ist die Bezeichnung fur die in der Schweiz gebrauchliche deutsche Schriftsprache. Es handelt sich um das Hochdeutsch, aber es unterscheidet sich in u.a. in Wortschatz, Wortbildung, Syntax und Aussprache. Diese sprachlichen Besonderheiten werden Helvetismen genannt. In der traditionellen Schweizer Kultur hat die Schweizer Volksmusik einen hohen Stellenwert. Die Schweizer Volksmusik gehort zur Alpenlandischen Volksmusik. Wichtige Instrumente der Volksmusik sind v.a. das Alphorn und das Schwyzerorgeli. Das Alphorn ist eine Natur"
