Diplomarbeit aus dem Jahr 2002 im Fachbereich Pädagogik - Berufsbildung, Weiterbildung, Note: Sehr Gut, Pädagogische Akademie des Bundes in der Steiermark (Abteilung für Berufsschulen), Sprache: Deutsch, Abstract: In der vorliegenden Diplomarbeit werden anhand der von mir verwendeten Literatur die komplexen Zusammenhänge der Thematik „Gehirngerechtes Lernen und Lehren im Berufsschulunterricht “ erläutert. Es wird versucht, detaillierte Literaturangaben im Text sowie im Literaturverzeichnis zu formulieren, um dem an Fragestellungen interessiertem Leser gezielt weitere Informationsmöglichkeiten aufzuzeigen. Kernpunkt der Diplomarbeit ist eine Schülerbeobachtung, die zur Überprüfung folgender Hypothese dient: „Die Merk- fähigkeit von Berufsschülern der 3. Klasse Bürokaufmann aus dem Bezirk Spit- tal/Drau im Fachgegenstand Büroorganisation ist bei gehirngerecht gestaltetem Un- terricht signifikant höher, als bei nicht gehirngerechtem Unterricht.“ 1 Aufgrund der Komplexität der ausgewählten Thematik wird kein Anspruch auf Vollstän- digkeit erhoben. Es wird auch darauf hingewiesen, dass aus Gründen der Lesbarkeit auf „geschlechtsneut rale“ Formulierungen verzichtet wird. Diese Thematik wird von mir nicht nur aus „Interesse“ gewählt. Durch eine intensive Aus- einandersetzung mit dem Leitgedanken „Gehirngerechtes Lernen und Lehren“ (der Aus- druck „brain- friendly - später „gehirn- gerecht“ - stammt von Vera F. Birkenbihl 2 , versuche ich einen praktischen Lösungsansatz für die Lehrtätigkeit darzustellen, damit eine optimale Gestaltung des Unterrichtes mit Hilfe von mediendidaktischen Hilfsmitteln erreicht und somit die Kommunikationsfähigkeit im Unterrichtsgeschehen verbessert wird.
