They have to be master musicians, educators, and conductors, all while balancing other professional disciplines like arranging, composing, trip planning, financing, and more. The parts of the job that take our sights off of great teaching must be managed so that we can focus on what counts: the music. If you are feeling overwhelmed by the logistics of your job, you are in luck- there is an app for that! Actually, a lot of apps. And Digital Organization Tips for Music Teachers is here to tell you all about them. Whether you can barely turn your computer on or if you are just looking for tips on how to make your work more efficient, there is something in store for you. As populism grows across global democracies, the integration of new technologies has significantly amplified the use of propaganda techniques and the spread of fake news. Tools like social media and artificial intelligence (AI) make digital technologies privileged vehicles for populist communication. Due to the use of fallacies, propaganda is confused with fake news, though these techniques are broader and based on political strategies to manipulate public opinion. With the advent of new technologies and the ever-increasing incorporation of AI into social life, political parties are facing a form of two-way communication without intermediaries, meaning they can directly reach and influence the public with reduced costs. Understanding the social impact of digital propaganda may help foster political literacy among civil society. Digital Populism and the Use of Neo-Propaganda and Fake News explores various populist parties, aiming to identify and understand their use of propaganda and fake news. It provides a comprehensive, global vision of populism in different nations and examines the communication strategies based on propaganda and disinformation. Covering topics such as social media, computational propaganda, and political rhetoric, this book is an excellent resource for political analysts, journalists, sociologists, government officials, policymakers, researchers, academicians, and more.

Digital Business Transformation written by Rocco Agrifoglio and has been published by Springer Nature this book supported file pdf, txt, epub, kindle and other format this book has been release on 2020-09-15 with Computers categories.
The recent surge of interest in “digital transformation” is changing the business landscape and posing several challenges, both organizational and sectoral. This transformation involves the application of digital technology in all aspects of business, and enables organizations to create new products and services, and to find more efficient ways of doing business. Moreover, the digital transformation is happening within and across organizations of all types and in every industry, producing a disruptive innovation that can break down the barriers between people and organizations, and help create more adaptive processes. In the information age, it is imperative for organizations to develop IT-related capabilities that allow them to leverage the potential of digital technologies. Due to the pervasive effects of this transformation on processes, firms and industries, both scholars and practitioners are interested in better understanding the key mechanisms behind the emergence and evolution of the digital business transformation. This book presents a collection of research papers focusing on the relationships between technologies (e.g., digital platforms, AI, blockchain, etc.), processes (e.g., decision-making, co-creation, financial, compliance, etc.), and organizations (e.g., smart organizations, digital ecosystems, Industry 4.0, collaborative networked organizations, etc.), which have been categorized into three major areas: organizing, managing and controlling. It also provides critical insights into how the digital transformation is enhancing organizational processes and firms’ performance through an exploration and exploitation of internal resources, and through the establishment of external connections and linkages. The plurality of views offered makes this book particularly relevant for users, companies, scientists, and governments. The content of the book is based on a selection of the best papers (original double-blind peer-reviewed contributions) presented at the annual conference of the Italian chapter of the AIS, which was held in Naples, Italy in September 2019.

Two decades of neoliberalism have destroyed a structured, pan-regional feminist movement in Canada. As a result, new generations of feminists have come to age without ever seeing the force that an organized social movement can have in democratic society. They have never benefited from the knowledge, the debates, the actions, the mass mobilizations or the leadership that all accompany a social movement and instead organize in decentralized silos. As a result, government and corporate leaders have co-opted feminism to turn it into something that can be bought, sold, or used to attract voters. Campaigns like #BeenRapedNeverReported, #MeToo, the SlutWalks and the Canadian Women’s marches, while important, don’t yet have the organized power to bring the changes that activists seek to make in society. In Take Back The Fight, Nora Loreto examines the state of modern feminism in Canada and argues that feminists must organize to take back feminism from politicians, business leaders and journalists who distort and obscure its power. Furthermore, Loreto urges today’s activists to overcome the challenges that sank the movement decades ago, to stop centering whiteness as the quintessential woman’s experience, and to find ways to rebuild the communities that have been obliterated by neoliberal economic policies.
