Welch and has been published by CRC Press this book supported file pdf, txt, epub, kindle and other format this book has been release on 2011-12-22 with Technology & Engineering categories.
From the Foreword: "...There are many good textbooks today to teach digital signal processing, but most of them are content to teach the theory, and perhaps some MATLAB® simulations. This book has taken a bold step forward. It not only presents the theory, it reinforces it with simulations, and then it shows us how to actually use the results in real-time applications. This last step is not a trivial step, and that is why so many books, and courses, present only theory and simulations. With the combined expertise of the three authors of this text...the reader can step into the real-time world of applications with a text that presents an accessible path..." —Delores M. Etter, Texas Instruments Distinguished Chair in Electrical Engineering and Executive Director, Caruth Institute for Engineering Education, Southern Methodist University, Dallas, Texas, USA Mastering practical application of real-time digital signal processing (DSP) remains one of the most challenging and time-consuming pursuits in the field. It is even more difficult without a resource to bridge the gap between theory and practice. Filling that void, Real-Time Digital Signal Processing from MATLAB® to C with the TMS320C6x DSPs, Second Edition is organized in three sections that cover enduring fundamentals and present practical projects and invaluable appendices. This updated edition gives readers hands-on experience in real-time DSP using a practical, step-by-step framework that also incorporates demonstrations, exercises, and problems, coupled with brief overviews of applicable theory and MATLAB® application. Engineers, educators, and students rely on this book for precise, simplified instruction on use of real-time DSP applications. The book’s software supports the latest high-performance hardware, including the powerful, inexpensive, and versatile OMAP-L138 Experimenter Kit and other development boards. Incorporating readers’ valuable feedback and suggestions, this installment covers additional topics (such as PN sequences) and more advanced real-time DSP projects (including higher-order digital communications projects), making it even more valuable as a learning tool.

Biomedical Signal Processing And Signal Modeling written by Bruce and has been published by John Wiley & Sons this book supported file pdf, txt, epub, kindle and other format this book has been release on 2007-01-20 with categories.
This book provides a unique framework for understanding signal processing of biomedical signals and what it tells us about signal sources and their behavior in response to perturbation. Using a modeling-based approach, the author shows how to perform signal processing by developing and manipulating a model of the signal source, providing a logical, coherent basis for recognizing signal types and for tackling the special challenges posed by biomedical signals-including the effects of noise on the signal, changes in basic properties, or the fact that these signals contain large stochastic components and may even be fractal or chaotic. Each chapter begins with a detailed biomedical example, illustrating the methods under discussion and highlighting the interconnection between the theoretical concepts and applications. · The Nature of Biomedical Signals· Memory and Correlation· The Impulse Response· Frequency Response· Modeling Continuous-Time Signals as Sums of Sine Waves· Responses of Linear Continuous-Time Filters to Arbitrary Inputs· Modeling Signals as Sums of Discrete-Time Sine Waves· Noise Removal and Signal Compensation· Modeling Stochastic Signals as Filtered White Noise· Scaling and Long-Term Memory· Nonlinear Models of Signals· Assessing Stationarity and Reproducibility

Digital Signal Processing With Field Programmable Gate Arrays written by Uwe Meyer-Baese and has been published by Springer Science & Business Media this book supported file pdf, txt, epub, kindle and other format this book has been release on 2013-03-09 with Technology & Engineering categories.
Field-Programmable Gate Arrays (FPGAs) are revolutionizing digital signal processing as novel FPGA families are replacing ASICs and PDSPs for front-end digital signal processing algorithms. So the efficient implementation of these algorithms is critical and is the main goal of this book. It starts with an overview of today's FPGA technology, devices, and tools for designing state-of-the-art DSP systems. A case study in the first chapter is the basis for more than 30 design examples throughout. The following chapters deal with computer arithmetic concepts, theory and the implementation of FIR and IIR filters, multirate digital signal processing systems, DFT and FFT algorithms, and advanced algorithms with high future potential. Each chapter contains exercises. The VERILOG source code and a glossary are given in the appendices, while the accompanying CD-ROM contains the examples in VHDL and Verilog code as well as the newest Altera "Baseline" software. This edition has a new chapter on adaptive filters, new sections on division and floating point arithmetics, an up-date to the current Altera software, and some new exercises.
