Defining the connection … that sometimes looked like illusory … i’ve realised it all became a concert … of complains. I’ve wrote a lot about … defining … and its importance so that we could have a beautiful existence. In fact i do believe … and that’s my main message that analysing and defining with honesty all we like and dislike … we could reach a point when we could actually redefine our lives … into a better way. And this theory could be available into any of the areas of our lives. In our careers, with our friends … and even into a love story. The only real problem is that in koi to one point …. defining and defining and defining too much … we come into a point when we actually look like people … which are non stop complaining. Yes … somehow all looks a lot with a … concert of complains. And we actually …. ruin all. One of the 2 partners will simple say … “I had enough … “. Today … i smile cause i’ve been into this position … on both sides … in many of the relationships i’ve been involved in. In business… in love … and any other area. So … all becoming ridiculous… we come now into the position of asking … what the hell we do … to be able to improve the connection without destroying it?! When is the best moment when we need to stop doing that?! Why we try to define on and on and on things which cannot be improved?! Can we actually accept that the relationship has its own limits?! Can we avoid being ridiculous… clearly being defined of our partners into that way?! Can we improve a relationship without a deep analysis and define with honesty all?! In fact my list of questions is even much, much longer … but into the end we need to somehow conclude … so … Most probably … all we define is about the dirty energies which we discover while interacting …. but we are never aware of the fact that all is maybe …. a reflection. Yes … a reflection. One that becomes clear while in deep connections… but we are not able to become aware of the fact that all we don’t like into the relationship… are parts of us that needs to be redefined. We should firstly analyse and define ourselves… and keep in mind that into a mirror we won’t be able to change the reflection…. unless we change. And …. It’s so damn simple … But .. what is funny …. is that even if we understand the theoretical concepts… on the stage of reality … we forget about all. So … we just complain. We don’t like that … or that …. or that etc etc… All looks indeed like a pathetic concert of illusory complains … which into the end simple ruins … the relationship itself. On and on …. and on.

Andreev Reflection In Superconducting Junctions written by Yasuhiro Asano and has been published by Springer Nature this book supported file pdf, txt, epub, kindle and other format this book has been release on 2021-11-12 with Technology & Engineering categories.

This book offers a primer on the fundamental theory of Andreev reflection, a fundamental process in the motion of a Cooper pair, which dominates low-energy electronic transport properties in superconductor junctions including differential conductance and Josephson current. The book concisely describes how Andreev reflection impacts the low-energy physics of electronic transport especially in topologically non-trivial superconductor junctions. In addition, it includes an introduction to topological superconductors, covering topological classification, chiral and helical superconductors, and topological edges. The book is based on the author’s lecture notes, used in his intensive lectures and while supervising his upper undergraduate and early graduate students. To fully benefit from this concise primer, readers only need an undergraduate background in quantum mechanics and statistical mechanics. Further, by highlighting Josephson junctions of topological superconductors, the book offers readers a glimpse into cutting-edge topics.

The Dirty Energy Dilemma written by Benjamin K. Sovacool and has been published by Bloomsbury Publishing USA this book supported file pdf, txt, epub, kindle and other format this book has been release on 2008-10-30 with Science categories.

The American electric utility system is quietly falling apart. Once taken for granted, the industry has become increasingly unstable, fragmented, unreliable, insecure, inefficient, expensive, and harmful to our environment and public health. According to Sovacool, the fix for this ugly array of problems lies not in nuclear power or clean coal, but in renewable energy systems that produce few harmful byproducts, relieve congestion on the transmission grid, require less maintenance, are not subject to price volatility, and enhance the security of the national energy system from natural catastrophe, terrorist attack, and dependence on supply from hostile and unstable regions of the world. Here arises The Dirty Energy Dilemma: If renewable energy systems deliver such impressive benefits, why are they languishing at the margins of the American energy portfolio? And why does the United States lag so far behind Europe, where conversion to renewable energy systems has already taken off in a big way? Corporate media parrot industry PR that renewable technologies just aren't ready for prime time. But Sovacool marshals extensive field research to show that the only barrier blocking the conversion of a significant proportion of the U.S. energy portfolio to renewables is not technological—the technology is there—but institutional. Public utility commissioners, utility managers, system operators, business owners, and ordinary consumers are hobbled by organizational conservatism, technical incompatibility, legal inertia, weak and inconsistent political incentives, ill-founded prejudices, and apathy. The author argues that significant conversion to technologically proven clean energy systems can happen only if we adopt and implement a whole new set of policies that will target and dismantle the insidious social barriers that are presently blocking decisions that would so obviously benefit society.

Energy And Climate In The Urban Built Environment written by M. Santamouris and has been published by Routledge this book supported file pdf, txt, epub, kindle and other format this book has been release on 2013-06-17 with Architecture categories.

Both the number and percentage of people living in urban areas is growing rapidly. Up to half of the world's population is expected to be living in a city by the end of the century and there are over 170 cities in the world with populations over a million. Cities have a huge impact on the local climate and require vast quantities of energy to keep them functioning. The urban environment in turn has a big impact on the performance and needs of buildings. The size, scale and mechanism of these interactions is poorly understood and strategies to mitigate them are rarely implemented. This is the first comprehensive book to address these questions. It arises out of a programme of work (POLISTUDIES) carried out for the Save programme of the European Commission. Chapters describe not only the main problems encountered such as the heat island and canyon effects, but also a range of design solutions that can be adopted both to improve the energy performance and indoor air quality of individual buildings and to look at aspects of urban design that can reduce these climatic effects. The book concludes with some examples of innovative urban bioclimatic buildings. The project was co-ordinated by Professor Mat Santamouris from the University of Athens who is also the editor of the book. Other contributions are from the University of Thessaloniki, Greece, ENTPE, Lyons, France and the University of Stuttgart, Germany.

Bodies As Sites Of Cultural Reflection In Early Childhood Education written by Rachael S. Burke and has been published by Routledge this book supported file pdf, txt, epub, kindle and other format this book has been release on 2014-10-30 with Education categories.

Taking the body as a locus for discussion, Rachael S. Burke and Judith Duncan argue not only that implicit cultural practices shape most of the interactions taking place in early childhood curricula and pedagogy but that many of these practices often go unnoticed or unrecognized as being pedagogy. Current scholars, inspired by Foucault, acknowledge that the body is socially and culturally produced and historically situated—it is simultaneously a part of nature and society as well as a representation of the way that nature and society can be conceived. Every natural symbol originating from the body contains and conveys a social meaning, and every culture selects its own meaning from the myriad of potential body symbolisms. Bodies as Sites of Cultural Reflection in Early Childhood Education uses empirical examples from qualitative fieldwork conducted in New Zealand and Japan to explore these theories and discuss the ways in which children’s bodies represent a central focus in teachers’ pedagogical discussions and create contexts for the embodiment of children’s experiences in the early years.
