Mit seinem Appell, an den noch unbeschriebenen Helden Dorian Gray, möchte er ihm aufzeigen, dass die Selbstentfaltung des Menschen innerhalb gesellschaftlich gesetzter Grundlagen von Moral und Normen nicht möglich ist und nur eine Loslösung von ebenjenen den Menschen zu seinem vollen Glück verhelfen kann. Wildes Roman handelt im Weiteren von der äußerlichen, auf rätselhafte Weise unveränderlichen Schönheit des Dorian Gray und seiner Selbstentfaltung wider die Norm. In der Sozialstruktur um den Helden werden seine verübten Tabubrüche vermutet, doch angesichts des makellosen, jünglinghaften Äußeren wird er von jeder Schuld freigesprochen. Das literarische Beispiel aus dem Jahre 1891 tangiert schon hier die Relevanz des menschlichen Körpers in der Gesellschaft, sowie die Verwirklichung des eigenen Naturell anhand einer Verweigerung der Norm. Im Februar 2008 veröffentlichte die Fernsehmoderatorin Charlotte Roche ihren Debütroman Feuchtgebiete . In ihrem Werk stehen ebenfalls anomale Taten wie auch der repräsentierte, gleichwohl im Kontext gesellschaftlicher Vorstellungen nicht repräsentative Körper im Mittelpunkt. Ist es bei Oscar Wildes The Picture of Dorian Gray noch der Kult des männlichen Ich, der „bei der sorgfältigen Pflege der eigenen Körperschönheit in elaborierten Toilettenritualen und bei der wechselseitigen Bewunderung vor allem männlicher Wohlgeformtheit“ ansetzt, so lässt sich Charlotte Roches Feuchtgebiete als Antonym dazu lesen. Mit Helen Memel, die sich aufgrund einer Analfissur im Krankenhaus aufhalten muss, stellt die Autorin eine Protagonistin vor, die ausführlich von ihrem versehrten Körper erzählt, Hygiene gerade im Intimbereich klein- und Sexualität in jeglicher Ausübung großschreibt. This publication aims at researching the use of the gender balanced scorecard as (long-term) change management instrument to implement gender mainstreaming in organisational culture. Case studies and in-depth interviews are the basis for the empirical research done in six organisations in Germany and the Netherlands. This research shows that a gender balanced scorecard could be a useful instrument for management, but before it can be introduced general awareness towards gender initiatives will have to be increased in organisations.
