El SeNor JesUs dijo: "Porque no he venido a llamar a justos sino a pecadores" (Mateo 9:13). No! Pero por medio de la justicia de Jesucristo, pecadores como tU y yo podemos tener la seguridad de ir al cielo como nuestro destino final. Ven a Cristo hoy mismo. VersiOn utilizada: La Nueva VersiOn Internacional

Your Ticket To Heaven Pack Of 25 written by Good News Publishers and has been published by this book supported file pdf, txt, epub, kindle and other format this book has been release on 2006-10 with Religion categories.

Your Ticket to Heaven May I offer you a ticket to heaven? You don't have to pay for it, and that's a good thing, because you could never afford to buy it It's free, but only because someone has already paid the ultimate price for it. God loves you and not only wants you to have a fulfilling life on earth, he also wants you to live with him in heaven forever. He's the one who offers you a paid-in-full ticket. No one wants to go to hell where there will be no joy and no pleasures whatsoever, and God doesn't want anyone to go there either. The Bible says that God is "not wishing that any should perish" (2 Peter 3:9). But there is a problem with getting that free ticket. We have all done wrong--we have all sinned, haven't we? God's Word says "If we say we have no sin, we deceive ourselves" (1 John 1:8). Sin pollutes--it makes us unclean, unfit for God's presence in that wonderful, perfect place called heaven. Sin penalizes--it separates us from a sinless God, "For the wages of sin is death" (Romans 6:23). In short, our sinfulness blocks the delivery of the ticket that we need to get into heaven Who paid for it? Wait There's good news Jesus Christ, the Son of God, came to earth to be born and to live his life without sin. He "suffered once for our] sins, the righteous one] for the unrighteous all of us ], that he might bring us to God" (1 Peter 3:18). When God "laid on him the iniquity sins] of us all" (Isaiah 53:6), Jesus cried out, "My God, my God, why have you forsaken me?" (Mark 15:34). The answer is simple and profound: Jesus was separated from God because he took your place and mine on the cross, and by dying he paid in full the "wages" our sins had earned. Then he rose from the dead, was seen by hundreds of people, and is alive today so you can know him and receive the gift of eternal life--your ticket to heaven. That's right The Bible says, "to all who did receive him Jesus], who believed in his name, he gave the right to become children of God" (John 1:12). That is fantastic You can become a "new" person--born of God--to start a brand-new life that pleases God. And, of course, all God's children have a ticket to heaven Do you want it? It is no accident you were given this offer of a ticket to heaven. God has made sure you can receive it. The whole issue is, did Jesus pay for all your sins or didn't he? God said he did. Trust God that it is so. "Whoever believes in the Son of God] has eternal life" (John 3:36). Just as a man says, "Yes, I will take this woman to be my wife," God wants you to tell him, "Yes, I will take Jesus to be my Savior. I believe that he is the only way to heaven." The Bible says, "Whoever has the Son Jesus] has life" (1 John 5:12). If you believe that God's way to heaven is the only way, you can "claim your ticket" by telling God in words like these: Dear God, I have sinned. I know I have offended you in many ways. I am so sorry. I believe that Jesus suffered and died for my sins, paid my debt in full, and rose again. Jesus, I believe in you and thank you for what you've done for me. Please save me from the penalty of my sins, and give me a new birth and the power to live for you. Thank you for this offer to spend eternity with you Remember what John 3:36 says: "Whoever believes in the Son has eternal life." Do you now believe in Jesus as your Savior, your only "ticket to heaven"? Do you have everlasting life, like God said?

Heaven Heaven is not a ghostlike, foggy atmosphere where disembodied spirits float around. Heaven is as real as this earth. Jesus told His disciples, "I go to prepare a place for you" (John 14:2). Paul taught that Christians would have new imperishable bodies (1 Corinthians 15:51-57). Again, contrary to many popular ideas, Heaven is not dull. The things that are killjoys on earth--selfishness, hatred, death--all will be gone. Heaven will not be a place where we sit around with nothing to do. The Bible suggests that Heaven will be a place for dynamic, creative and untiring activity, but without toil and fatigue (Revelation 21:1-7). Heaven will also be a place of intellectual stimulation. Here we "see through a glass darkly," but there, "face to face," we shall see God (1 Corinthians 13:12). Are you going? Jesus said, "I am the way, the truth, and the life: no man cometh unto the Father, but by me.... He that heareth my word, and believeth on him that sent me, hath everlasting life, and shall not come into condemnation; but is passed from death unto life" (John 14:6; 5:24). Hell Jesus and the New Testament writers use every image in their power to tell us that Hell is real, terrible, something to be feared and avoided at all costs. Never forget that the talk about outer darkness and the lake of fire came from Jesus, who died to save us. In His parable of the last judgment Jesus taught that some would go to eternal punishment, some to eternal life (Matthew 25:46). In other words, Hell will be as real and lasting as Heaven. The most frightening thing about Hell is that it is spiritual separation from God, moral remorse, the consciousness that one deserves what he is getting. Hell is total separation from the love, joy, and peace that come from God. Are you going? "He that believeth not the Son shall not see life; but the wrath of God abideth on him" (John 3:36). "The Son of man shall send forth his angels, and they shall gather out of his kingdom all things that offend, and them which do iniquity; and shall cast them into a furnace of fire: there shall be wailing and gnashing of teeth" (Matthew 13:41-42). Which will you choose? You must decide where you will spend eternity. Jesus Christ has paid the full penalty for your sins on the cross. "Christ also hath once suffered for sins, the just for the unjust, that He might bring us to God" (1 Peter 3:18). Now you must come to Him just as you are--a guilty sinner unable to save yourself. Commit your life to Christ today! You can pray something like this: God, thank You for sending Jesus to take the punishment for my sins that I might spend eternity in Heaven with You. I turn from my sin and invite You into my life to be my Lord and Savior. In Jesus' name, amen. Portions of this text were written by Leighton Ford. (c)1974 Campus Crusade for Christ, Inc. HOW CAN WE KNOW WE'LL GO TO HEAVEN? A recent poll indicated that for every American who believes he or she is going to hell, there are 120 who believe they're going to heaven. This optimism stands in stark contrast to Jesus Christ's words written in the Bible: "Enter by the narrow gate. For the gate is wide and the way is easy that leads to destruction, and those who enter by it are many. For the gate is narrow and the way is hard that leads to life, and those who find it are few" (Matthew 7:13-14). The truth is that according to the Bible we don't automatically go to heaven. In fact, hell--not heaven--is our default destination. Unless our sin problem is solved once and for all, we can't enter heaven. That's the bad news. But once that's straight in our minds we're ready to hear the good news of Jesus Christ. Jesus took upon himself, on the cross, the hell we deserve so that we could experience for eternity the heaven we don't deserve! THE ONLY TWO OPTIONS There are two possible destinations when we die: heaven or hell. Can we really know in advance where we'll go? John, one of the writers of the Bible, said this: "I write these things to you who believe in the name of the Son of God that you may know that you have eternal life" (1 John 5:13). We can know for sure that we'll go to heaven when we die. Do you? To sin means to fall short of God's holy standards. Sin is what ended paradise in the Garden of Eden. And all of us, like Adam and Eve, are sinners. "For all have sinned and fall short of the glory of God" (Romans 3:23). Sin separates us from a relationship with God (Isaiah 59:2) and it deceives us and makes us think that wrong is right and right is wrong (Proverbs 14:12). Sin has terrible consequences, but God has provided a solution: "For the wages of sin is death, but the free gift of God is eternal life in Christ Jesus our Lord" (Romans 6:23). Jesus Christ, the Son of God, loved us so much that he left the riches of heaven to become a man and deliver us from our sin. "For God so loved the world, that he gave his only Son, that whoever believes in him should not perish but have eternal life" (John 3:16). He came to identify with us in our humanity and our weakness, but he did so without being tainted by our sin, self-deception, and moral failings (Hebrews 4:15-16). Jesus died on the cross as the only one worthy to pay the penalty for our sins demanded by the holiness of God: "For our sake he [God] made him [Jesus] to be sin who knew no sin, so that in him we might become the righteousness of God" (2 Corinthians 5:21). But in victory over death, God raised Jesus from the grave, defeating the consequences of sin (1 Corinthians 15:3-4, 54-57). When Christ died on the cross for us, he said, "It is finished" (John 19:30). In those times "It is finished" was commonly written across certificates of debt when they were canceled. It meant "Paid in full." Christ died so that the certificate of debt consisting of all our sins could once and for all be marked "Paid in full." THE CRITICAL DECISION Only when our sins are dealt with in Christ can we enter heaven. We cannot pay our own way. Jesus said, "No one comes to the Father except through me" (John 14:6). "There is salvation in no one else, for there is no other name under heaven given among men by which we must be saved" (Acts 4:12). Because of Jesus Christ's sacrificial death on the cross on our behalf, God freely offers us forgiveness. To be forgiven, we must recognize and repent of our sins. Forgiveness is not automatic. It's conditioned upon confession: "If we confess our sins, he is faithful and just to forgive us our sins and to cleanse us from all unrighteousness" (1 John 1:9). Christ offers to everyone the gifts of forgiveness, salvation, and eternal life. "Let the one who is thirsty come; let the one who desires take the water of life without price" (Revelation 22:17). There's no righteous deed we can do that will earn us a place in heaven (Titus 3:5). We come to Christ empty-handed. We can take no credit for salvation. "For by grace you have been saved through faith. And this is not your own doing; it is the gift of God, not a result of works, so that no one may boast" (Ephesians 2:8-9). This gift cannot be worked for, earned, or achieved. It's dependent solely on Christ's generous sacrifice on our behalf. Now is the time to make things right with God. Confess your sinfulness and accept the sacrifice of Jesus Christ on your behalf. You are made for a person and a place. Jesus is the person, and heaven is the place. They are a package-- they come together. You cannot get heaven without Jesus or Jesus without heaven. "Seek the Lord while he may be found; call upon him while he is near" (Isaiah 55:6). For all eternity you'll be glad you did. If you understand what God has done to make forgiveness and eternal life possible for you, you may want to express it in words like these: "Dear Lord, I confess that I do not measure up to your perfect standard. Thank you for sending Jesus to die for my sins. I now place my trust in him as my Savior. Thank you for your forgiveness and the gift of eternal life."

How to Become a Christian 1. Admit that you have sinned. "For all have sinned . . . If we say we have no sin, we deceive ourselves, and the truth is not in us." Romans 3:23, 1 John 1:8 Your sin separates you from God and leads to death. "God is light, and in him is no darkness at all." 1 John 1:5 "For the wages of sin is death . . ." Romans 6:23 You cannot get rid of your sin on your own. "He saved us, not because of works done by us in righteousness, but according to his own mercy." Titus 3:5 2. Believe that Jesus Christ is the only one who can save you from your sins. "And there is salvation in no one else, for there is no other name under heaven given among men by which we must be saved." Acts 4:12 Jesus Christ, God's Son, led a sinless life, yet chose to be punished in our place. "For Christ also suffered once for sins, the righteous for the unrighteous, that he might bring us to God." 1 Peter 3:18 He died on a cross and was buried. Three days later, God raised Him to life again to prove that death was defeated. "Christ died for our sins in accordance with the Scriptures . . . he was buried . . . he was raised on the third day in accordance with the Scriptures . . . death no longer has dominion over him." 1 Corinthians 15:3-4, Romans 6:9 God offers to forgive our sins and invites us to spend eternity in Heaven with Him if we accept Christ's sacrifice on our behalf. "Everyone who believes in him receives forgiveness of sins through his name." Acts 10:43 "Whoever hears my word and believes him who sent me has eternal life. He does not come into judgment, but has passed from death to life." John 5:24 3. Turn from your sins and invite Christ into your life. "Repent therefore, and turn again, that your sins may be blotted out." Acts 3:19 "If we confess our sins, he is faithful and just to forgive us our sins and to cleanse us from all unrighteousness." 1 John 1:9 "If you confess with your mouth that Jesus is Lord and believe in your heart that God raised him from the dead, you will be saved." Romans 10:9 If you are ready to take this important step, talk to God right now and say something like this: Dear God, I admit that I have sinned. I believe that You sent Your Son, Jesus, to take the punishment I deserve. Then You raised Him to life again, so that I may have eternal life. I turn now from my sins and ask You to forgive me. Please come into my life and be my Savior and Lord. In Jesus' name, amen. What's Next? If you've just invited Christ into your life, here are some things you can do to grow in your relationship with Him: Read the Bible to learn more about God and His plan for your life. Pray to God often to share your joys and problems and to confess your sins. Attend a Bible-teaching church where you can worship God and get to know other Christians. Share your faith. You have just received a wonderful gift. Tell someone! Write to us. Let us know about your decision, and we will send you some free literature to help you get started.
