It discusses the differences found in using cultural relevance in a way leading to compromise with or true connection to the world in a biblical fashion. The second aim of the book is to equip the individual Christian with biblical parameters for making decisions in life areas absent of definitive "thou shalt, thou shalt not's." It also aims to provide decision-making skills for areas of "liberty" that may or may not be, in Paul's words "expedient or helpful" in the moment. It is a warning, lest we and our churches continue to "fall away."
