Het personage van Zorro herrijst uit zijn assen in deze beklijvende interpretatie van een klassieker uit de volkscultuur, ontstaan in een roman van Johnston McCulley in 1919 en onsterfelijk gemaakt door de cinema en de tv-reeks van Walt Disney.
