Nach einer inhaltlichen Zusammenfassung wird das Werk auf sein Verhältnis von Realität und Fiktion untersucht. Des Weiteren wird aufgezeigt inwiefern "Donna di Porto Pim" der Gruppe der giovani scrittori zugerechnet werden kann. Im Anschluss wird erläutert ob die Kurzgeschichte der Ästhetik postmodernen Schreibens gerecht wird sowie auf Sprache und Stil eingegangen.
