Am scris aceasta carte din doua motive: dorinta de a impartasi si altor romani pe care i-am gasit la obiectivele turistice din tara, tristi ca nu pot afla mai multe, deoarece nimeni nu se gasea sa le dezvaluie secretele monumentului si, al doilea, fiindca am vrut sa ridic un colt de pe viata de ghid turistic. E frumoasa si grea, in acelasi timp. Te joci cu vacanta unui om, cu momentele din viata lui care ar trebui sa fie relaxante si pline de bucurie, iar daca nu dedici lui, turistului, 100% cu timpul tau si cunostintele tale, daca nu dai din tine tot ce ai mai bun, atunci mai bine te apuci de pascut vaci. Sincer. Am vazut ghizi care ajungeau la obiectiv si lasau pe ghidul de acolo sa faca prezentarea, lucru care mi se pare inadmisbil. Obiectivele descrise in carte, sunt, in opinia mea, cele mai populare din Romania. Le-am grupat pe regiuni istorice si le-am ingrosat denumirile ca sa fie mai usor de gasit. Descrierile unor drumuri sunt la nivelul anilor 2007-2008, in prezent circulandu-se foarte bine pe drumuri ca : Bistrita – Vatra Dornei, Campulung Moldovenesc – Suceava ori Cluj Napoca – Baia Mare. Imi doresc ca aceasta carte sa va fie de un real folos in cunoasterea tarii in care ne-am nascut cu totii si, care, e insuficient explorata de catre romani. Cand veti porni pe drumurile patriei, sa tineti minte ca avem lucruri pe care le au si occidentalii, dar avem si unicate. Sa tineti minte ca, daca nu va cunoasteti tara temeinic, de fiecare data cand veti calatori in strainatate, o sa spuneti “ia uite, mai, ce au astia, si noi nu suntem in stare...” . Nu numai ca suntem in stare, dar, in multe cazuri, i-am si depasit, insa daca nu o sa va cunoasteti tara, nu veti sti acest lucru. Va urez drumuri bune si sa auzim de bine.
