Are your children being taught scientific "proofs" that have already been disproven? Much of the world has been convinced to abandon God because of a few classic "proofs of evolution" in schoolbooks. The Vanishing Proofs of Evolution shows how one after another of these very convincing "proofs" has been found to be untrue. Don't just stand and watch while your kids and their teachers are being deceived. Give them the knowledge that will build their faith and help them help others. It's all explained in this scientifically-sound book, which clearly shows that true science supports the Creation position and disproves evolution. The book presents powerful evidence that God is the Creator, and concludes with an introduction to Him. Discover how easy it can be to defend the Creation position. Recommendation: “The Vanishing Proofs of Evolution” is an excellent source of the positive evidence for creation while describing the scientific evidence against the theory of evolution." Parallelism Learning Evolution written by J.D. Becker and has been published by Springer Science & Business Media this book supported file pdf, txt, epub, kindle and other format this book has been release on 1991-12-04 with Computers categories.

This volume presents the proceedings of a workshop on evolutionary models and strategies and another workshop on parallel processing, logic, organization, and technology, both held in Germany in 1989. In the search for new concepts relevant for parallel and distributed processing, the workshop on parallel processing included papers on aspects of space and time, representations of systems, non-Boolean logics, metrics, dynamics and structure, and superposition and uncertainties. The point was stressed that distributed representations of information may share features with quantum physics, such as the superposition principle and the uncertainty relations. Much of the volume contains material on general parallel processing machines, neural networks, and system-theoretic aspects. The material on evolutionary strategies is included because these strategies will yield important and powerful applications for parallel processing machines, and open the wayto new problem classes to be treated by computers.

High-throughputomics' projects such as genome sequencing, structural genomics and proteomics mean that there is no shortage of information on proteins. But the more information we have, the harder it is to make sense of it, to know where to start, and to identify the important results. This book is a clear, up to date and authoritative account of

God The Devil And Darwin written by Niall Shanks and has been published by Oxford University Press this book supported file pdf, txt, epub, kindle and other format this book has been release on 2007-03-15 with Religion categories.

In recent years a controversial new theory of the origins of biological complexity has been fomenting bitter debates in education and science policy. Intelligent Design theory (ID) proposes an alternative to accepted accounts of evolutionary theory: that life is so complex, and that the universe is so fine-tuned for the appearance of life, that the only plausible explanation is the existence of an intelligent designer. For many ID theorists, the designer is taken to be the God of Christianity. This book is an accessible introduction to, and critique of, this controversial new movement. After looking at the historical roots of ID, philosophy-of-science professor Shanks takes a hard look at its intellectual underpinnings, and shows how arguments for ID lack cohesion, rest on errors and unfounded suppositions, and generally are grossly inferior to evolutionary explanations.--From publisher description.

What do you know about evolutionary theory? Or, maybe there are two questions here: (1) What do you think you know; (2) What do you actually know? Quite irrespective of whether individuals believe in evolution or they are opposed to it, most people probably would have to acknowledge that they know almost nothing at all about the actual nuts and bolts of the technical issues at the heart of evolutionary theory. Their beliefs concerning this matter -- whatever the character of those beliefs might be -- is, for the most part, likely to be framed by, and filtered through, two themes: (a) a largely unexamined acceptance of the opinion of others; (b) the extent to which evolutionary theory makes carrying on with the rest of their philosophical or religious perspective either easier or more difficult to continue to do. Seeking the truth should neither be a function of blindly following the beliefs of other individuals, nor should that process be a function of what one finds easy or difficult to do, Therefore, irrespective of what your conceptual orientation concerning evolution might be, this book was written to challenge readers to critically reflect on various problems so that individuals might be able to work their way toward gaining greater insight into a variety of issues that swirl about the topic of evolution. Finally, Evolution Unredacted offers a critical analysis of several landmark legal decisions involving the dispute between proponents of evolution and advocates for creationism -- namely, McLean v. Arkansas Board of Education and Kitzmiller, et al v. Dover Area School District, et al. More specifically, the final chapter of Evolution Unredacted engages the evolution v. creationism debate through the filters of the Establishment Clause of the First Amendment and Article IV, Section 4 of the Constitution. The results of the foregoing analysis are likely to surprise the reader. Moreover, those results tend to entail a variety of implications for the process of education.
