Didaktische Konzepte sind erprobt, der Einsatz von E-Learning in den Hochschul-veranstaltungen vielzählig in allen Fachgebieten etabliert; die technische Realisation stellt kein Problem mehr dar. Das ‚klassische E-Learning‘ sozusagen haben wir hinter uns – was bringt die mobile Zukunft? Genau jetzt ist der richtige Zeitpunkt festzuhalten, welche Umsetzungen und Anwendungen es für E-Learning an der Pädagogischen Hochschule Ludwigsburg gibt – und dies sicher beispielhaft für viele Hochschulen. Multimediale Lernarrangements, die netzgestütztes Lernen ermöglichen, breiten sich im Bereich der beruflichen und betrieblichen Bildung immer weiter aus. Die empirische Studie untersucht die Qualitätsanforderungen von E-/Blended-Learnern anhand einer standardisierten Online-Befragung und qualitativer Interviews. Aus der Sicht der Lernenden lassen sich vier relevante Bedürfnisfelder angemessener E-Learningangebote identifizieren und differenziert charakterisieren: der Kursaufbau, die soziale Eingebundenheit, der tutorielle Support sowie die didaktische und ästhetische Gestaltung der Lernumgebung. Des Weiteren rekonstruieren die AutorInnen mit Hilfe clusteranalytischer Verfahren drei deutlich unterschiedliche Typen von E-Learnern. Daraus ergibt sich die Notwendigkeit einer adressatenspezifischen Gestaltung von E-Learning-Angeboten, für die entsprechende (medien-)pädagogische Konzepte entwickelt werden.
