Bunu on yıldır düşünüyorum. Türkan Alvan “Kudemanın Şiir ve Musıkî Kardeşliği”; Yurdagül Mehmedoğlu “İhsan Kavrayışı ve Musıkînin Muhayyel Diliyle Kendini Anlamlandırma”; Mehmet Sabri Genç “Söz’ün İçindeki Ses, Ses’in İçindeki Söz”; Ertuğrul Aydın “Edebiyat Ülkesinin Yakın Komşusu: Müzik”; Serhat Demirel “İlhan Berk’in Şiirinde Sesin ve Sessizliğin Musikisi”; Şafak Çelik “Boşlukta Var Olan, İmkânsızın Şarkısı”; Oğuz Şenses “Notanın Vecdinden Türk Romanına Sızan Damlalar”; Ünal Çelik “Piyanonun Başındaki Yasak Aşk”; Rabia Berna Tümkor “Kroyçer Sonat”; Gamze Beşenk “Zülfün Dökmüş Yüzüne” ve Bünyamin Demirci “Vatan Nasıl Karışır Musikiyle” başlıklı yazılarıyla sözü kanatlandırdılar. Bu kelam neşesine müziğin sihirli eli değmeliydi. Değdi de. Ülkemizin seçkin müzisyenlerinden Erkan Oğur’a uzattık Karabatak’ın mikrofonunu. Emine Taş’ın sorularını özenle cevapladı usta. “Eğer Ses İnsansa, Sessizlik Müziktir” diyen Oğur’un bir yandan sanat çizgisine tanık olurken diğer yandan kişisel tarihine kulak verdik. Postcolonial Criticism written by Bart Moore-Gilbert and has been published by Routledge this book supported file pdf, txt, epub, kindle and other format this book has been release on 2014-05-12 with Literary Criticism categories.

Post-colonial theory is a relatively new area in critical contemporary studies, having its foundations more Postcolonial Criticism brings together some of the most important critical writings in the field, and aims to present a clear overview of, and introduction to, one of the most exciting and rapidly developing areas of contemporary literary criticism. It charts the development of the field both historically and conceptually, from its beginnings in the early post-war period to the present day. The first phase of postcolonial criticism is recorded here in the pioneering work of thinkers like Aimé Césaire, Frantz Fanon, Edward Said, and Gayatri Spivak. More recently, a new generation of academics have provided fresh assessments of the interaction of class, race and gender in cultural production, and this generation is represented in the work of Aijaz Ahmad, bell hooks, Homi Bhabha, Abdul JanMohamed and David Lloyd. Topics covered include negritude, national culture, orientalism, subalternity, ambivalence, hybridity, white settler societies, gender and colonialism, culturalism, commonwealth literature, and minority discourse. The collection includes an extensive general introduction which clearly sets out the key stages, figures and debates in the field. The editors point to the variety, even conflict, within the field, but also stress connections and parallels between the various figures and debates which they identify as central to an understanding of it. The introduction is followed by a series of ten essays which have been carefully chosen to reflect both the diversity and continuity of postcolonial criticism. Each essay is supported by a short introduction which places it in context with the rest of the author's work, and identifies how its salient arguments contribute to the field as a whole. This is a field which covers many disciplines including literary theory, cultural studies, philosophy, geography, economics, history and politics. It is designed to fit into the current modular arrangement of courses, and is therefore suitable for undergraduate and postgraduate courses which address postcolonial issues and the 'new' literatures in English.

Discourse On Free Will written by Desiderius Erasmus and has been published by A&C Black this book supported file pdf, txt, epub, kindle and other format this book has been release on 2013-06-27 with Religion categories.

Desiderius Eramsus (1466/9-1536) was the most renowned scholar of his age, a celebrated humanist and Classicist, and the first teacher of Greek at Cambridge. An influential figure in the Protestant Reformation, though without ever breaking from the Church himself, he satirised both human folly and the corruption of the Church. Martin Luther (1483-1546) was the founder of the German Reformation. His 95 Theses became a manifesto for reform of the Catholic Church and led to his being tried for heresy. He remained in Germany, Professor of Biblical Exegesis at the University of Wittenburg, until his death, publishing a large number of works, including three major treatises and a translation of the New Testament into German. Comprising Erasmus's "The Free Will" and Luther's "The Bondage of the Will", Discourse on Free Will is a landmark text in the history of Protestantism. Encapsulating the perspective on free will of two of the most important figures in the history of Christianity, it remains to this day a powerful, thought-provoking and timely work.

Carl Schachter is, by common consent, one of the three or four most important music theorists currently at work in North America. He is the preeminent practitioner in the world of the Schenkerian approach to the music of the eighteenth and nineteenth centuries, which focuses on the linear organization of music and now dominates discussions of the standard repertoire in university courses and in professional journals. His articles have appeared in a variety of journals, including some that are obscure or hard to obtain. This volume gathers some of his finest essays, including those on rhythm in tonal music, Schenkerian theory, and text setting, as well as a pair of analytical monographs, on Bach's Fugue in B-flat major from Volume 1 of the Well-Tempered Clavier and Chopin's Fantasy, Op. 49.

Inside India written by Halidé Edib and has been published by Oxford University Press this book supported file pdf, txt, epub, kindle and other format this book has been release on 2008-11-26 with History categories.

First published in 1937, this book presents the author's personal account of India. The author, a Turkish writer and novelist, visited the region in 1935 and gained insights into the history and sociology of the country. Based on her experiences, Halidé Edib documents significant contemporary events which shaped the history of India at the time, including the Hindu–Muslim separatism and the freedom movement led by Mahatma Gandhi. Her work is by far the most eloquent account of Indian society and politics in the 1930s. Here she details her travel to several regions such as Aligarh, Lahore, Calcutta, Peshawar, Lucknow, Bombay, and Hyderabad, as well as her meetings with many people from different walks of life. She takes a look at Indian nationalism, identifies its strengths and weaknesses, describes its encounters with colonialism, and analyses the rising tide of Muslim nationalism. With scholarly finesse, she reveals the Indian personality of Muslims in India and shows a favourable disposition towards the perspective of the Congress Muslims.
