Books on the mathematics of pyramids tend to provoke sighs of resignation from Egyptologists. Not only are they often filled with impenetrable jargon and equantions, but also they tend to be based on deeply-felt underlying beliefs in alien contact or conspiracy. As Sally Katary writes in the introduction, this is not one of those books, but an interesting exploration into the way in which the whole Egyptian pyramid complexes at sites like Giza and Dahshur were tied into plans stretching over generations of pharaohs, and linking in waterworks, roads and drainage ditches, as well as the monuments themselves.

The mystery of the Pyramids has been solved! For thousands of years the Pyramids have been enshrouded in mystery and their purpose for being built has been an enigma. This book solves the mystery of the Pyramids and presents the mathematical discoveries in a clear and rational way. The connection between the mathematics of the Pyramids and the Crop Circles is revealed!Mathematician, R.K. Owens, presents compelling findings about the geometry behind the Pyramids. Using the Golden Ratio, Vesica Piscis and Pi, new and exciting discoveries are presented mapping the precise geometry behind the Pyramids of Giza, the conical structures of Guachimontones and the Sun and Moon Pyramids of Teotihuacan. The mathematics that appears in natural organic growth is the same mathematics that unifies the Pyramid complexes.R.K. Owens demonstrates the interconnections between the height, slopes and base of the Pyramids. He shows how the same measurements that appear in the Pyramids of Giza are also the same mathematics and ratios of sunflowers and natural organic growth. The mathematics of the layout of the Pyramid complexes is mapped out, demonstrating the reason for the three Pyramids being lined up in the way that they are. The reason that the third, smaller Pyramid is offset by a number of degrees is mathematically explained. The same mathematics and ratios that appear in the layout of the Pyramids of Giza also occurs in the structures of Guachimontones and the Sun and Moon Pyramids of Teotihuacan. This is demonstrated in this book with clear mathematics. Most compellingly, R.K. Owens decodes the mathematics of Crop Circles that feature the same mathematics as the layout of the Pyramids. This presents questions as to the origin of the Pyramids and our own sacred origins as a human race.

True pyramids are the oldest, the largest, and yet mathematically and geometrically the most advanced structures ever built on Earth. They have stood the test of time throughout the whole written history of humankind remaining their original shape and thus conveying the timeless information of their advanced architecture over the millennia. But what exactly is a true pyramid? A true pyramid is a pyramid, that follows these five characteristics: 1) It is regarded by modern Egyptologists as 4th dynasty pyramid. 2) It has a square base that is aligned very precisely with the cardinal points of compass. 3) It was built to last: Despite being built nearly 5,000 years ago it still represents almost flawless geometry. 4) No mummies, funerary scriptures, funerary art or any grave goods have ever been found inside of it. 5) It was designed and built in royal cubits (1 royal cubit = 0.5236 meters). There are only five pyramids in Egypt that meet all these five requirements. Three of them are in Giza and two of them in Dahshur. In this book will be shown how these pyramids form three different ground plans on map: one to Giza, one to Dahshur, and finally the Great Ground Plan comprising all five true pyramids of Egypt. The side lengths and the diagonals of these ground plans follow a clear mathematical pattern, which can no longer be mere accident, but a sign of systematic planning.

Illustrated details of interiors and exteriors of pyramids, construction, and their true purposes. A complete handbook about the pyramids of Ancient Egypt during the Pyramid Age. It contains: the locations and dimensions of interiors and exteriors of the pyramids; the history and builders of the pyramids; theories of construction; theories on their purpose and function; the sacred geometry that was incorporated into the design of the pyramids; and much, much more. This Expanded Edition of the book consists of fully illustrated seven Parts with a total of 18 Chapters, as well as one Appendix. Part I: Overview consists of two chapters 1 and 2, as follows: Chapter 1: The Background provides a short opening statement about the common "theories" and the counterpoints based on actual facts. Chapter 2: The Genuine Masonry Pyramids provides a list of the Egyptian pyramids that were built during the Fourth dynasty about 4500 years ago. Part II: Pyramids versus Tombs consists of two chapters 3 and 4, as follows: Chapter 3: Stepped "Pyramid" of Zoser covers details of its super-structure and its underground chambers. Chapter 4: The Fictional Tombs covers the details of a typical Ancient Egyptian tomb and how totally different from the interiors of the Egyptian masonry pyramids of the Fourth Dynasty. Part III: Pyramids -- Functions & Forms consists of two chapters 5 and 6, as follows: Chapter 5: The Pyramid Complex shows how the Egyptian pyramid was a component of a complex that was connected to other temples; and the differences in functions and forms between a pyramid and a temple; as well as the energetic proportioning of such structures. Chapter 6: Pyramid Power covers the form variations of the Egyptian masonry pyramids; and how such forms attract, maintain and channel cosmic energies. Part IV: Pyramid Construction Techniques consists of two chapters 7 and 8, as follows: Chapter 7: The Flawed "Common Theory"covers the details of the Common 'Theory"; the unidentified "source" of quarried blocks ; the impossibilities of cutting and shaping the pyramid blocks; the impossible logistics of fabricated ramps' theory; the convenietly ignored three immense Pyramids of Snefru; and a summation refuting the western-made "Common Theory" Chapter 8: The Material Facts covers Herodotus accounts of pyramid construction; Egyptian molding techniques ; the differences between synthetic and natural blocks; the various types of synthetic concrete blocks; the unique qualities of the pyramids'casing stones; additional evidential facts of synthetic pyramid blocks; as well as bringing to light the even more outstanding details of the earlier incredible masonry works of Saqqara Part V:The Three Snefru Pyramids consists of three chapters 9 through 11, as follows: Chapter 9: Snefru’s Meidum Pyramid covers its detailed exteriors and interiors. Chapter 10: Snefru’s Bent Pyramid covers its detailed exteriors and interiors. Chapter 11: Snefru’s Red Pyramid covers its detailed exteriors and interiors. Part VI: The Three Pyramids of Giza consists of four chapters 12 through 15, as follows: Chapter 12: The Giza Plateau provides an overall diagram of the main points of interest in the Giza Plateau Chapter 13: Khufu’s Great Pyramid covers its detailed exteriors and interiors. Chapter 14: Khafra’s Pyramid covers its detailed exteriors and interiors. Chapter 15: Menkaura's Pyramid covers its detailed exteriors and interiors. Part VII: After The Pyramids consists three chapters 16 through 18, as follows; Chapter 16: Mission Accomplished concludes the Egyptians' objectives of building the pyramids Chapter 17: "Pyramid" Texts covers the origin of such incorrectly western characterization of such texts. Chapter 18: The Greatest Pharaohs That Followed provides accounts of subsequent more powerful and great builders who never built a pyramid because the real objectives of building pyramids were achieved during the era of the Fourth dynasty. Appendix A: Roof Forms and Their Metaphysical Designations shows how the Egyptians' choice for a roof form was based on metaphysical and not construction reasons.

In this fascinating study, architect and Egyptologist Corinna Rossi analyses the relationship between mathematics and architecture in ancient Egypt by exploring the use of numbers and geometrical figures in ancient architectural projects and buildings. While previous architectural studies have searched for abstract 'universal rules' to explain the history of Egyptian architecture, Rossi attempts to reconcile the different approaches of archaeologists, architects and historians of mathematics into a single coherent picture. Using a study of a specific group of monuments, the pyramids, and placing them in the context of their cultural and historical background, Rossi argues that theory and practice of construction must be considered as a continuum, not as two separated fields, in order to allow the original planning process of a building to re-emerge. Highly illustrated with plans, diagrams and figures, this book is essential reading for all scholars of Ancient Egypt and the architecture of ancient cultures.

Apex written by Ole Jørgen Bryn and has been published by Fagbokforlaget this book supported file pdf, txt, epub, kindle and other format this book has been release on 2011 with Architecture categories.

Global headlines were made when Norwegian architect and researcher Ole J. Bryn published his first article on the ancient Egyptian pyramids in 2010. Unlike numerous existing theories concerning the building of these immense stone structures - often put forward by historians, Egyptologists, and archaeologists - Bryn's approach is as different and original as it is simple. In this book, Bryn suggests that the Egyptians invented the architectural and engineering professions, and he finds evidence in the apex point - an invisible, theoretical point 146.6 meters above the ground level of Khufu's Great Pyramid at Giza. How the pyramids were built derives directly from how they were planned. However, the planning phase has not yet been explored in research literature with the same vigor as the building phase. APEX: Retracing the Egyptian Pyramids balances this incongruity by examining thoroughly - in detailed project drawings - the first 30 Egyptian pyramids from the 3rd, 4th, and 5th dynasties. Bryn's theories about the planning phase of the pyramids are enhanced by his unique project drawings of the pyramids, which are supported by photographs by fellow architect Havard Houen.
