The "La Fabrica Montanesa" or "El Castillo" as commonly known wasa large-scale factory constructed in 1831 for the manufacture of thread and yarn located in theneighborhood of Tlalpan (Mexico City). The singular industrial construction was originally awheat mill, and although "small in proportion with the factory, but large in relation with itshistoric, architectural and technological background. On one side, the mill merged thePre-Hispanic artisan manufacture with European technology and on another side its hydraulicinstallations determinate the establishment of the first textile factory constructed in Mexico."(Our translation) --P. 14. The present study main objective is the preservation of a outstandingexample of 19th century industrial architecture in Mexico City, which although catalogued asan historic building, has largely been unprotected. The study is not limited to the historic orarchitectural aspects of the building, the research text also studies the document collected fromdiverse archives regarding the intervention of hydraulic engineers, architects, master carpenters, blacksmiths and bricklayers in the design and construction of machinery used by the mill.

Censura Y Recepci N De Hemingway En Espa A written by Douglas Edward Laprade and has been published by Universitat de València this book supported file pdf, txt, epub, kindle and other format this book has been release on 2005 with Literary Criticism categories.

La Prisi N Y Las Instituciones Punitivas En La Investigaci N Hist Rica written by Pedro Oliver Olmo and has been published by Universidad de Castilla La Mancha this book supported file pdf, txt, epub, kindle and other format this book has been release on 2014-09-23 with Law categories.

Social History of Punitive Institutions in Spain needs meetings and discussions, comparison and collaboration between researchers. Only then it will become visible and intelligible as a historiographical trend and, above all, as a theoretical-methodological hope, because in fact, now it is more than conceivable as a historiographical practice. Here in this book are outlined, along with the achievements, the shortcomings and the most pressing challenges. Far from seeking an extemporaneous autonomy, Social History of Punitive Institutions wants to try to find its own feasibility based on intersections and good mixings. Those objectives were considered by the Study Group about History of Prison and Punitive Institutions (Grupo de Estudio sobre la Historia de la Prisión y las Instituciones Punitivas, GEHPIP) –an interuniversity team and with central office at Universidad de Castilla-La Mancha (UCLM)– when organising what it decided to name in an homonymous way 1st International Congress on History of Prison and Punitive Institutions (I Congreso Internacional sobre Historia de la Prisión y las Instituciones Punitivas), held in Ciudad Real (Spain) from 10 to 12 April 2013. The electronic book here presented is a good example of what it was told and discussed there.

"Eric W. Pennington's book, the latest and one of the best on Buero Vallejo's theater, thoughtfully frames careful analyses with the major theoretical approaches of the last half century. Pennington's knowledge of those theories and his insights into the various artistic influences on Buero's plays are remarkably thorough. Of particular note also is his intelligent, even literary prose---the perfect vehicle for evoking the artistic nuance, historical detail, and human impact of Buero's compelling dramatic achievements." Women In The Prose Of Mar A De Zayas written by Eavan O'Brien and has been published by Boydell & Brewer this book supported file pdf, txt, epub, kindle and other format this book has been release on 2010 with Literary Criticism categories.

Zayas's prose through a gynocentric lens. María de Zayas y Sotomayor published two volumes of novellas, Novelas amorosas y ejemplares [1637] and Desengaños amorosos [1647], which enjoyed immense popularity in her day. She has recently been reinstated as a major figure of the Spanish Golden Age. This study examines Zayas's prose through a gynocentric lens. Drawing on an extensive array of primary and secondary sources, and referring to the ideas of Irigaray, Kristeva, Cixous, Raymond and Genette, O'Brien reflects on the interactions of Zayas's women in such relationships as friendship, sisterhood, and motherhood, analyzing these interactions through the collections as a whole, and connecting the novellas with the frame stories, an aspect of Zayas's writing which has often been overlooked by critics. EAVAN O'BRIEN is a Lecturer in Hispanic Studies at Trinity College Dublin.
