Este libro contiene un cumulo de información jurídica que resulta relevante en el contexto del modelo de orden que conduce Chile; éste se rige por un sistema de leyes escritas e instituciones ordenados en torno a un ordenamiento jurídico. Así, la protección de los derechos y las libertades Luego, el funcionamiento de la administración de justicia en el Estado de Chile, fue abordado por el profesor e investigador Dr. Alexis Mondaca de la Universidad Católica del Norte. Para el tema de los principios generales de Derecho Civil, contamos con el destacado profesor Marco Antonio Sepúlveda, especialista en estos temas y Director de una importante revista de Derecho Inmobiliario en Chile. En cuanto a los derechos Fundamentales y su garantía jurisdiccional en Chile, ha sido elaborado por dos investigadores: Dra. Priscila Machado y Dr. Zulmar Fachin, ambos especialistas e investigadores en Derecho Procesal y Constitucional, de la Universidad de los Andes de Chile y de la Universidad de Londrina de Brasil, respectivamente. En relación a la costumbre y usos sociales en el Derecho Chileno, contamos con la apreciada profesora Dra. Pamela Mendoza de la Universidad de la Frontera de Temuco, Chile e integrante del Centro de Investigación sobre desafíos internacionales. En el tema de la estructura de los órganos del Estado de Chile, aceptamos la colaboración del Profesor Mario Sepúlveda, especialista en Derecho Administrativo. Por último, hizo un aporte el promisorio profesor Víctor Hernández de la Universidad San Sebastián a través del desarrollo del orden público en la Constitución de Chile de 1980 y su presencia en el ordenamiento jurídico actual. A través de la sinopsis sobre el ordenamiento jurídico actual, debe observarse que la legislación que se ha desarrollado en Chile, han conducido, en términos graficos, a que gran parte de los principios en torno a los cuales se construyo nuestro país, tras la independencia de España, ha sido sustituidos por otros. Finalmente, el análisis del Derecho en Chile obliga a reflexionar sobre hacia donde avanzamos y que esperamos de nuestro ordenamiento. En tal sentido, no cabe duda de que al Estado y a los particulares les incumbe una acción decidida en hacer posible, cada vez más, que las transformaciones jurídicas en materia económica, social e institucional contribuyan a mejorar el bienestar de la mayoría de la población chilena. En este escenario, la obra aporta a la discusión que se está desarrollando en nuestro país sobre el rol que compete al Estado y el sector privado.
