Por ello el contenido de este libro corresponde con los conocimientos que consideramos imprescindibles para abordar el mundo del incienso, por ejemplo, sus aromas y para que sirven. Pues se intenta brindar una gu?a que facilite el proceso de introducci?n al mundo de la aromaterapia. El uso del t?rmino incienso, comprende diferentes factores, pues su denominaci?n m?s b?sica es del lat?n incensum, cuyo significado es encender; en otras palabras, es una preparaci?n de resinas arom?ticas vegetales, a las que a menudo se combinan con aceites esenciales de origen animal o vegetal, de forma que el quemarse desprenda el humo fragante con fines terap?uticos, religiosos o est?ticos. Bajo la premisa del incienso hay tem?ticas que envuelven a la aromaterapia, quemadores de sahumerio y el mundo del esoterismo.
