Este libro pretende sistematizar, en la medida en que ello sea posible un amplio número de ejercicios, juegos y actividades extraídos del ámbito de la gimnasia rítmica deportiva y trasladarlos al mundo de la educación física, potenciando en cada una de ellas aquellos aspectos que puedan tener un interés particular para un educador ansioso de investigar no solamente nuevas formas de movimiento, sino también en nuevas dimensiones motrices del individuo, que pueden ir más allá del cuerpo mecánico y del movimiento-rendimiento, buscando formas más creativas que impliquen también al cuerpo rítmico y al cuerpo simbólico expresivo. Para ello, el libro se ha estructurado en dos bloques. El primero, llamado bloque teórico, trata de definir en qué marco se desarrolla nuestra disciplina desde el punto de vista meramente educativo y de formación, haciendo breves incursiones en el mundo de la competición abrazando los siguientes apartados: aspectos pedagógicos, soporte corporal, soporte material, soporte sonoro. El segundo, el bloque práctico, se aborda, a modo de fichas, propuestas de ejercicios tanto de manos libres, es decir, sin manipulación de aparatos, como los que se realizan con aparatos propios de esta disciplina deportiva: cuerda, aro, pelota, mazas y cintas. Los contenidos desarrollados en el texto se concretan en forma de ejercicios y cada uno de ellos trata los siguientes aspectos: objetivo, nivel de dificultad, material, organización, descripción, observaciones y variantes. El libro incluye también una amplia discografía con música de la Edad Moderna, Contemporánea, actual, bandas sonoras, tanto españolas como extranjeras.

El primer capítulo es introductorio, y no hace más que reflejar una reflexión de las personas que coordinamos esta obra, también en discusiones, foros, publicaciones, y que nos llevan a tener una idea sobre cómo debería ser la Formación Deportiva, sin que ello impida tener una visión crítica. Da pie a las ideas que se desarrollan con rigor y solvencia en los capítulos posteriores, pero también señalamos aspectos que creemos que deberían ir apareciendo en un periodo breve de tiempo. En la primera sección hemos ubicado los capítulos donde lo que prima es el cambio de perspectiva metodológico partiendo del TGfU y de la Enseñanza Comprensiva del Deporte, respecto a una forma denominada tradicional en la enseñanza del deporte y vinculados a Educación Física. The relationship between technological and pedagogical innovation has recently created a new field of research at the crossroads between Psychology, Educational Sciences and Artificial Intelligence: Educational Robotics (ER). Through analysis of the achievable educational goals based on the technological status and specific learning modes of different types of robots, it is possible to define three pedagogical paradigms: learning robotics, learning with robotics, and learning by robotics. In this book we address these three paradigms through three themes: human representations of robots, the acceptance and trust shown when interacting with a humanoid, and learning favored by the development and programming of robots in an educational context. These themes allow the authors to fully explore, define and delimit this novel field of research for future application in educational and social contexts. Finally, the book discusses contributions and limitations which have emerged from different methodologies of research, potential educational applications, and concepts of human–robot interaction for the development of the above paradigms.
