El presente libro tiene como propósito proponer un plan de negocio direccionado a las organizaciones del sector agro mercado, que mediante procesos de distribución idóneos se dediquen a la comercialización de productos perecibles como son las hortalizas en cobertura horizontal y vertical. Para dar sustento a un plan de negocio, se tomará la base de su entorno comercial de la Asociación de un agro mercado ubicado en la Región de Lambayeque, a fin de lograr el posicionamiento de hortalizas frescas, entre sus necesidades encontradas son limitaciones de visión empresarial y organizacional por parte de los comerciantes para afrontar el lado comercial y distribución de las hortalizas del agro mercado. El plan de negocio propuesto se ha enfocado en fortalecer las actividades comerciales de la asociación, lo cual debe mejorar la calidad de vida de los actores sociales vinculados a la cadena de distribución. La situación de la asociación encontrada respecto a la escasa información formal de las actividades comerciales, no existen análisis documental y observación para el recojo de información a su entorno, con el sentido de conocer su espíritu emprendedor y su potencial de crecimiento, el tipo de investigación fue desarrollada en forma descriptiva-exploratoria. El plan de negocio propuesto tiene los lineamientos enfocados en fines de organización del sector de hortalizas, referente a la investigación de mercado, plan de mercadeo, estrategias de marketing o mercadeo, plan operativo, asimismo se recomienda desarrollar alianzas estratégicas, nuevos nichos de mercado y canales de distribución para mejorar su posicionamiento y crecimiento, con productos de calidad.
