Im Mittelpunkt stehen allerdings die Analysen sämtlicher Vertonungen der spanischen Petrarca-Gedichte durch Komponisten wie Alonso Mudarra oder Juan Vasquez, die immer wieder auf die Inhalte der Liebesgedichte Francesco Petrarcas Bezug nehmen.
