The Archive of the Sacromonte Abbey in Granada preserves a historical treasure: Arabic texts on a sheet of parchment and on numerous small tablets of lead, which were discovered in Granada at the end of the sixteenth century in the tower of the old Friday Mosque and in caves of the "Valparaíso" hillock, from then on called "Sacromonte". They became the object of heated discussions in Europe and were condemned by the Pope in 1682. The texts are among the very last literary productions of the Moriscos, the Andalusi Muslims, many of whom continued to practice Islam in secret until their expulsion from Spain between 1609 and 1614. With the permission of the archbishop of Granada, we offer, for the first time in history, a study, edition, translation, and images of all the tablets and shed new light on the fascinating religious messages of these enigmatic texts and their authors.

El Verso no tiene dueo es un grito librado al firmamento en una descarga casual y emotiva como la vida misma. Lo menos importante para la autora fue ubicarlo en un tiempo o un espacio. Existen sin embargo, acontecimientos trascendentales que lo motivan y que son la razn de su existencia, como el amor, el desamor, la pasin, la msica, la maternidad, la libertad, etc. Son versos circunstanciales de la fibra potica cautiva, que se liberan al momento en que la omnisciencia impacta menos que las emociones y lo que se escribe no est sometido a una corriente literaria estricta. Cundo la inspiracin se recrea sin fecha marcada y cada escrito que ve la luz nace como efecto de una causal explosiva, se emiten y disean estos escritos en formatos diferentes. Variada y tambin recurrente es la temtica que da cuerpo a su vitalidad. El Verso no tiene dueo se conforma por un grupo de sonetos, poesas y prosas, autnomos como su nombre. La esencia, la corriente y la alineacin potica de estos versos, se estacionan en la mente de la escritora como una incgnita sin develar, entre lo que es poesa y anti poesa y direcciona su contenido hacia un lector normal, pero apasionado. Es fcil percibir que al registrar estos versos sobre el papel, la autora no inhala, solo exhala letras que inmortalizan pasiones del intelecto, en confabulacin con el alma. Un par de alas imaginarias para ascender y descender, son las herramientas necesarias para leer este libro y encadenarse a su lema: Vuela sin dueo!
