Asymptotic Methods In Electromagnetics written by Daniel Bouche and has been published by Springer Science & Business Media this book supported file pdf, txt, epub, kindle and other format this book has been release on 2012-12-06 with Science categories.

Numerically rigorous techniques for the computation of electromagnetic fields diffracted by an object become computationally intensive, if not impractical to handle, at high frequencies and one must resort to asymptotic methods to solve the scattering problem at short wavelengths. The asymptotic methods provide closed form expansions for the diffracted fields and are also useful for eliciting physical interpretations of the various diffraction phenomena. One of the principal objectives of this book is to discuss the different asymptotic methods in a unified manner. Although the book contains explicit formulas for computing the field diffracted by conducting or dielectric-coated objects, it also provides the mathematical foundations of the different methods and explains how they are interrelated.

Finite Element Method Electromagnetics written by John L. Volakis and has been published by John Wiley & Sons this book supported file pdf, txt, epub, kindle and other format this book has been release on 1998-06-15 with Science categories.

Employed in a large number of commercial electromagnetic simulation packages, the finite element method is one of the most popular and well-established numerical techniques in engineering. This book covers the theory, development, implementation, and application of the finite element method and its hybrid versions to electromagnetics. FINITE ELEMENT METHOD FOR ELECTROMAGNETICS begins with a step-by-step textbook presentation of the finite method and its variations then goes on to provide up-to-date coverage of three dimensional formulations and modern applications to open and closed domain problems. Worked out examples are included to aid the reader with the fine features of the method and the implementation of its hybridization with other techniques for a robust simulation of large scale radiation and scattering. The crucial treatment of local boundary conditions is carefully worked out in several stages in the book. Sponsored by: IEEE Antennas and Propagation Society.

Plane Wave Theory Of Time Domain Fields written by Thorkild B. Hansen and has been published by John Wiley & Sons this book supported file pdf, txt, epub, kindle and other format this book has been release on 1999-06-10 with Science categories.

"This invaluable book provides a comprehensive framework for the formulation and solution ofnumerous problems involving the radiation, reception, propagation, and scattering of electromagnetic and acoustic waves. Filled with original derivations and theorems, it includes the first rigorous development of plane-wave expansions for time-domain electromagnetic and acoustic fields. For the past 35 years, near-field measurement techniques have been confined to the frequency domain. Now, with the publication of this book, probe-corrected near-field measurement techniques have been extended to ultra-wide-band, short-pulse transmitting and receiving antennas and transducers. By combining unencumbered straightforward derivations with in-depth expositions of prerequisite material, the authors have created an invaluable resource for research scientists and engineers in electromagnetics and acoustics, and a definitive reference on plane-wave expansions and near-field measurements. Featured topics include: * An introduction to the basic electromagnetic and acoustic field equations * A rigorous development of time-domain and frequency-domain plane-wave representations * The formulation of time-domain, frequency-domain, and static planar near-field measurement techniques with and without probe-correction * Sampling theorems and computation schemes for time-domain and frequency-domain fields * Analytic-signal formulas that simplify the formulation and analysis of transient fields * Wave phenomena, such as ``electromagnetic missiles"" encountered only in the time domain * Definitive force and power relations for electromagnetic and acoustic fields and sources." Asymptotic And Hybrid Methods In Electromagnetics written by I. Andronov and has been published by IET this book supported file pdf, txt, epub, kindle and other format this book has been release on 2005-07-18 with Science categories.

Asymptotic methods provide considerable physical insight and understanding of diffraction mechanisms and are very useful in the design of electromagnetic devices such as radar targets and antennas. However, difficulties can arise when trying to solve problems using multipole and asymoptotic methods together, such as in radar crosssection objects. This new book offers a solution to this problem by combining these approaches into hybrid methods, therefore creating high demand for both understanding and learning how to apply asymptotic and hybrid methods to solve diffraction problems.
