La obra indaga sobre la construcción histórica de la concepción del crimen pasional en un estudio sobre Colombia durante el periodo 1890-1936, tiempo de vigencia del Código Penal de 1890, en lo que concierne a la naturalización del delito, los dispositivos discursivos, las ocurrencias, el uso de la violencia y la interpretación normativa.
